Beautiful River Front, wonderful people we have meet in every aspect of all of our visits to Savannah! From our servers, waitress, cooks, chefs, tour guides, and even our homeless people in the 22 parks we walk, the people are so nice and respectful to us northern tourists in Savannah! East Bay Street has so many hard working people serving my friends as tourists, every year we come to Savannah, GA, and enjoy our time in the parks and the area! In the last decade or more, Savannah, GA has made us welcome to the history, the food, and the friendship of our people trying to make a living and enjoying life! I Love Savannah, GA.
I have walked the walk, and enjoyed the talk for every year we have gone to Savannah, GA! Beautiful City, Beautiful People, and would be my favorite place to live in my retirement if I could leave my kids and grandkids up North!
Good afternoon, my name is Lisa and I am watching from Euclid Ohio good afternoon everybody😊❤😊😊❤❤. I can't wait to be in Savannah this summer for my Birthday SWEET 60❤😂
This was great. I’m actually in the process of planning my first solo trip to Savannah and this allowed me to see what a lot of the areas will be like to walk around in. You even walked past a couple of the Airbnb‘s I was thinking of staying at! I can’t believe how you just randomly walked around with no plan and no sense of direction. Awesome video
Hey Bit of a Wander. I found your live of Savannah Georgia! It is marble! very steady and very high quality! I am rooting for you almost 1000 Subs! I subbed of course.
I have so many wonderful memories of Savannah, GA, allot of them were during St. Patrick Day! Some were just a visit after going to the Biltmore, in N C. Been going to the Biltmore in NC for 15 years or more, Love Savannah, Ga, and all the people we have met and talked to over the years! I know Savannah, GA, as Southern hospitality.
Hopefully you were able on your own to walk East Jones Street, Visit Monterey Square and The Mercer-Williams House, Forsyth Park, and drive out to Bonaventure Cemetery....all beautiful spots!
So glad you chose my beautiful hometown to tour! Welcome (belatedly)! I hope you were able to break your viewer/streaming record! I live in Atlanta now, but get super homesick. Yours is one of my favorite videos of my town whenever I just wanna get back there without driving. I hope you enjoyed yourself and were welcomed proper!
Great video. Glad I discovered you. Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room is the restaurant with the line at 1:19:00. Never ate there but it’s said to be an experience.
Actually, the lighting made everything on the video very clear with no large dark areas you can get on video in full sun when looking at something that isn't.
Took me a few minutes to realize that you're not talking or greeting at a random sign or building 🤣. I want to visit Savannah before heading over to Beaufort and the surrounding areas. Great video! ❤ from NY.
@@ThePerfectWalk Hi. I'm glad yiu did a long video and take us there so thst we have a feel for the area. Looking at this hotel Staybridge Suites on East Bay Street, is that near that area by Queen Savannah boat? Or which other hotels that is nearby that area? I'm looking to stay close by the river front areas so that we can just go on foot. I have young kids so one to be safe at the same time. Thanks.
I must tell you that I really cracked up when you said that they converted their downtown into a shopping mall - what a great strategy and so on. That's how all small towns used to be. The rest of the world changed. Savannah didn't.
The tower at the Savannah College of Art and Design ( SCAD ) was used by the previous owner ( county jail ) to hang people. SCAD buys so many old derelict buildings that we might have to change our name from Savannah to SCADville.
I want you to know that I am planning a trip to Savannah someday (cooler than now, that's for sure) and I am having a great time following you on Google Streets. (You may be lost, but I know exactly where you are!) BTW, it would be nice if you could say street names a little more. However, It's not too hard because you will see a landmark I can look up to verify where I think you are. The combination of your video and Google Streets should make me know my way around so that I can get the most out of the experience.
Great walk no puseing or advertising srait throw unlike Tokyo explorer which for some reason always stops and freezes have to keep restarting inlay he's you tune channel does this any comments on why
Savannah really is the perfect Christmas gift.
Thanks for visiting our city we are very proud of her preservation and historical significance. Please come visit again, there is so much you missed.
I hate the shops !
@@luly2323 well bless your heart, then you don't have to visit.

Really enjoyed walk. Would love to go to savannah
I agree, I like Savannah better than Charlestown. It's just a bit more quaint and eccentric, but both are great places to visit. Nice tour!
Thx so much!!!

Hey thanks!!! Welcome to the channel!
1:19:40 you should have asked the people at the end what's so good about that one fish two fish restaurant?
Even a cloudy day can't keep Savannah down
It was epic!!!

Awesome! Thank you!
I love Savannah. Your video is very sharp, very clear❤😂
Hey Thanks!
Savannah is Historical. There are so many facts that you missed. Other than that, great walking tour.
Such a great walking city!!
Agreed!!
Don't miss Forsyth Park
Go to Jones Street---City Market--Broughton Street and the 20-something squares
I must tell you that I really cracked up when you said that they converted their downtown into a shopping mall - what a great strategy and so on.
That's how all small towns used to be. The rest of the world changed. Savannah didn't.
Totally true. I should have said they preserved it as a shopping destination and foot traffic friendly
I am 60 , I have bought everything I need to in my life x 4 - I hate to see shops anywhere, is shopping all there is to tourism?
Nope! But shops are what some folks want for suren
Did you get a chance to watch the blue ridge mountain dancers a must on you tube
No! I’ll look them up

. I’m not sure about that. Thank you so much for watching Ian. This was one of my favorite walks I have done in a long time.
