This is the first edition I streamed, but already my 15th attempt or so to qualify.

These maps are worse than kacky somehow
They’re zerator/lol style maps, but not as extreme imo

@@MariJu1ce but lolmaps are way more random. This map was more lolmap, her others are more zerator. But all are less extreme than those two.
Why does a part of this community seem to hate anything related to Maji am I missing something that she did
TM has one of the most competitive communities out there and especially in tournaments with such high prize money they expect a proper competition. That‘s not what you get with Maji‘s mapping though since she values fun over competitiveness and she even notices herself during mapping that some things she throws in there aren‘t competitive but then continues to finish the map and lets people suffer on it. I think it‘s very natural that the most competitive players and the viewers with a similar spirit are quite skeptical when comes to anything related to her speed mapping.
@@ledooni Hot take but I think in any gaming community a clash between the skill guys and the fun guys is inevitable. It would be good if there's some middle ground solution (Kacky) but life isn't perfect. I can see why people are not happy especially as you've said that Maji offers some prize money for her tournaments, and she isn't a bad mapper at all when she really wants to make good maps.
@@vdqm Zerator has found the perfect middle ground. His maps look super goofy and weird and it‘s not always super smooth and intuitive racing lines but most maps still end up quite consistent/competitive and definitely fun at the same time. Goofy is fine, just don‘t put RNG bounces etc. in there and everybody is happy
I'm confused why you guys are so mad about this. I'm not sure these maps are supposed to be played by pros or to be played seriously 😅
Why would you have such a high prize money then though if you wouldn‘t want it to be played competitively. The prize money makes the pros play but the maps make them hate their lives 😂
