half these youtubers saying vampirism doesn't work with this build and the fucking other half says it does, the ones that say it doesn't help with the build have tested it so I really want to know why everyone hasn't gotten it straight whatever the case is..
i gives 30% “magic healing” so if you have low magic healing it doesn’t help as much and won’t be as noticeable. but if you have even like 8 magic healing you’ll notice it if you don’t take it.
Can I just ask why do you always life drain the hydra? I see you do this all the time vs mobs and now players too. My best guess for each case is that maybe you don't want to pull aggro when a mob is on hydra and maybe you don't want to risk missing life drain on a player. I don't play the game but I know life drain does damage, so why not just life drain enemies sometimes instead of destroying your hydra? 5:35 seems like a blunder to me; you barely netted any HP and it probably would have been quicker and easier to just tick life drain once or twice on one of the players.
If you’re life draining a player, they’re close enough to hurt you so it’s very risky. Players also dodge and hydra doesn’t. In the fight you mentioned, I thought I could get the drain off faster but they pushed so I had to settle for just one or two ticks
I'm not quite sure I understood the stat portion. What stat specifically gives you better healing potential when using lifedrain/tm with curses. Is it based off of magical healing or magical damage dealt which is then transferred to more health?
If I remember correctly, TM with your curses scales with Magical Healing (Mystic Gloves and Occultist Hood have it as a stat), while Life Drain scales off your magic damage, which is increased by Will and the + Magic Damage stats (Additional and True).
By time time you've hit your 20th curse and after running around for 5 minutes trying not to die.. it seems like you could just run fighter or cleric and kill them in 3-5 hits and be done with it...
Can someone clarify with 100% certainty that Vampirism scales off from damage or healing? I know it was mentioned in the video but I heared many ppl say both damage and healing too so idk who to believe at this point 😅
Believe me and reference the wiki as well if you like. Life drain ONLY scales with damage and the vampirism perk. Magical healing rolls on gear do NOT affect life drain

New to the game, does curse of pain stack on itself or are you just resetting the duration?
Curse spam is just for the upfront damage. They do not stack
Do you think instead of saying the percentage, you could say the number instead?

wizard is currently a dead class (almost never see them) anti magic only works on wizards so anti magic is currently a dead perk.

I have a warlock build but my spells do so much damage to me compared to yours and I don’t know y my hydra does 24 dmg to me do you know why that is ?
That’s the torture mastery perk. It triples spell costs but allows you to heal from curses instead of just life drain

If you mean the health cost, it’s because you have the torture mastery perk equipped. That perk triples the health cost of spells
