👋 ABOUT ME:
My name is Ryan Stewart, I’m on online entrepreneur and marketer. I used to work a job I hated for a company I didn’t believe in, until I stumbled upon “SEO”. Flash forward 10 years later and I’ve built, grown and scaled almost a dozen 7 figure businesses. It’s my goal in life to free you from the old mindset and institutions in place. If you follow my Channel you’ll learn valuable marketing, business and technical skills that will help you build your own online businesses.

Who knew math would become useful? 😉 I’m going to use this, thank you!
Hi Ryan. Love your videos! They are really professional and great topics.
I am confused about the Breakeven and Projected ROI. Using the eCom example the AOV is $78.82. This AOV is gross revenue and does not take into account the cost of the sale to the company. However, the annual cost of SEO at $80,000 comes out of the companies net profit (as it's an additional expense they didn't have before entering into the campaign). It is going to take alot more than 1015 sales at an AOV of $78.82 to break even. If I am right on this then it affects the ROI for an SEO campaign. The ROI in year two would be good if rankings and traffic remain and the SEO campaign is completed. Does this ever get highlighted?
Hey David - technically, you are correct.
The AOV is looking at gross rev, not profit. Our job as marketers is to drive acquisition and top line revenue. While I want to get the CAC as low as possible, if a company is running shitty margins on their products, this isn't my problem. That's an operational issue they need to work out.
I built this projection from an agency point of view - how will you benefit from my services? In other words, I am ONLY looking at the profitability of their investment in SEO.
If I was running this for internal company projections, yes, I would alter it to look at total profitability.
@@NOTRyanStewart Hi Ryan. Great answer and much appreciated. I understand better now and feel confident using it in a pitch.
Plus a high percentage of SEO marketing is evergreen so a good future investment for any business owner.
Great information, I like it a lot. But I'm having issues with the very first step which is; when I hover over the A1 cell to modify the data with Supermetrics, it doesn't give me the option. I watched the tutorial video and it didn't work. Is there a workaround for that? Thanks

Hey Ryan, I noticed for lead gen there was no mention of tracking calls?
that can be easily added in
Hey ryan!
Regarding roi which is profit/ investment
For the invested amount I consider my landed cost ? Or cost of goods sold?
neither? not really sure what you're referring to...
@@NOTRyanStewart i mean in my knowledge i knew that, to get the ROI percentage i have to
get my net profit divided my investment ( landed cost ) not the COGS
landed cost, because this are the cash money i invest in the business... correct? ex : manufacturing cost,shipping.... and every costs involved from producing to bring the goods to final destination
with the COGS i understand instead my profitability? which is not the ROI
2 separate things
is this correct?
I'd be interested to know what your proposal process is? I notice you do a lot of things afterwards that the agency I work for does BEFORE we get a client to sign a contract. For example, you do a lot of ongoing audits I think during the contract. I feel our agency provides like 2-3k worth of audits before a client has even signed up and many times they don't. Be cool to see a video of your thoughts on proposals and how much should be included before the potential client is a paying customer.
You can read about my proposal process here:

The thing is sometimes the leads on a website are spam or unrelated to the service e.g. they are submissions looking for work. How would you tackle this issue?
just ignore them
Hi Ryan! I can't download the FREE Template you are talking about. Is there any other way to achieve it? Thank you
this is only available right now to Blueprint customers, you can find out more about what that looks like here: theblueprint.training
We are just a few weeks from launching this as a full blown software app, make sure to stay tuned for that!
cool but the hard part is figuring out the estimated % growth in traffic, which you just gloss over as a set 44%. Wish you went more into helping people figure out what this number is for them. The rest is just plugging in numbers.
i said it in the first 8 seconds of the video to PLEASE watch video 1 where i show you how to project organic traffic.
here's the video - ua-cam.com/video/JVszSOEg0d0/v-deo.html
DO I have to use math?
What about new websites which getting ~zero traffic? :p
look at the future value of the traffic
@@NOTRyanStewart how can someone calculate the future value without having any base value?
Where is the template
just click any of the links...theblueprint.training/seo-roi/
@@NOTRyanStewart great staff as always! Watched the video and read the posts but I couldn’t find the link to the template?
@@NOTRyanStewart Hello, there isn't anymore the yellow button to download the template. Is it still possible to get it?How?thanks
