    thanks for sharing this, i have used it to show how to descale a Quooker and our clients find it very interesting.
    We often descale quookers and other kitchen appliances and recommend a filter to avoid this. The UK is so plagued with hard water problems.

    Great video. I've just descaled our quooker and found it very helpful. A lot easier than I thought. Our own quooker had a lot of scale in the water inlet nozzle at the top which reduced the flow a lot. I think our own one had a lot more scale than yours but is now like new again :-)

    It's better to mount the new diffuser filter after the first flush. That way the new filter doesn't get clogged up by the loose coal.

    What is the amount of electricity that the Quooker use? I am interested in using it in our Camping vehicle with solar power.

      you can´t use it for camping. It uses a lot of electricity

      it costs jut 3p a day and 1p a litre compared to your kettle which is incredibly energy greedy at around 4-6p a boil
