I would call it a wind powered generator. Turbine implies spinning parts. I really want to see this method work as it is a much easier way to bring power to remote areas with bad roads like the Mustang district of Nepal.

Actually I'm working on an alternator design cause I couldn't find something that works like that, however you may see if piezoelectric generators are an option for small applications

Ok let s call it just like that!. I think you re right cause it may be simpler to build
use some rubber bands to bring it back after the wind has pushed it away. just a thought

Perhaps you can design your own just with 3D printing and some scraps and we will do that contest!
