I liked that Clare eventually gave up her pursuit of Brandon, since he made it clear he wasn't interested in her. She became more interesting when she was paired with Steve or David.
Brandon had about 22 love interests across the entire series, the most out of any of the other main guys. They tried to present him as the good guy with morals, but he always seemed to find a new girl every other week.
