- Exactly what it says...all 7 goals from Motherwell's 4-3 win over Dundee United in the 1991 Scottish Cup Final.
Motherwell scorers: Iain Ferguson, Phil O'Donnell, Ian Angus, Stevie Kirk
Dundee United scorers: Dave Bowman, John O'Neil, Darren Jackson
There was no Old Firm involvement in the 1991 Scottish Cup final, but unfortunately it did still provide a platform for the "unacceptable face of Scottish football." .....
Davie Bowman.
And the most remarkable part isn't even in this clip -- Ally Maxwell getting his ribs cracked and spleen ruptured in a collision with John Clark early in the second half, but still pulling off a full-stretch save from Malpas's goal-bound shot with almost the last kick of extra time.
Having watched Celtic lose to Motherwell in the semi final replay 4-2 after taking the lead twice, I remember as an 9 year old wanting Motherwell to lose this match out of sheer badness and to punish them for disappointing me. I was rooting for United thus. Both teams were phenomenal and it is still the best game I have ever watched in my life. The Phil O'Donnell "brave as a lion" line, spoken by Ally McCoist, has remained with me for 3 decades. Never a truer word said. Well done Motherwell.
Im 37,Celtic fan and this is still the greatest scottish cup final iv ever seen!!
Nah Celtic 2 rangers 3 the best final ever
Nah hibs 3-2 rangers better
This was one of the best finals ever, but unfortunately Dundee United lost. To cap a miserable day for us, our supporters bus got lost when leaving Hampden to return to Dundee and our driver ended up driving us into Motherwell, to the amusement of the locals. We had a collection for him and suggested he buy a roadmap.
Thanks for uploading this. Although I'm a half-arsed Aberdeen fan, I was looking for the goals from this cup final just the other week, but all I could find was a poor quality video of Phil O'Donnell's header.
Good luck on Saturday - the more trophies non-Old Firm teams win the better!
That ball boy at 5:00...
Let’s go Motherwell!!!!!!!
This was my very first cup final supporting Dundee United. I sat in the old all seater stand. I was gutted we didn't get the winner in extra time. Since then I've been back to Hampden in 1994 to see us win it for the first time. 2005 to lose to Celtic and 2010 to win it again and 2014 to lose to St Johnstone. All in all 50% of the time its been a success for me. Not bad considering the fans who had to witness the pain of all the previous losing cup finals.
I'd been to hampden 5 times at this point, lost all 5. Still can't forgive Alan main watching it back. Heart was broken. Boys at school all asking if my mother was well on the Monday. Brutal
I’m gonna get loads of hate from this comment and told I’m lying but. My great uncle actually is Jim Griffin he is my grandpa’s brother who is Gordon Griffin and his niece Rachel Griffin now Rachel rush my mum was at this game when she was only a year old.
My uncle is stevie lol
I was born seven months after motherwell won the scottish cup and its still one of the greatest scottish cup final of all time R.I.P. Phil O'donnell

2:02 - 2:29 Many people have used this part of the video and claimed to be the live footage of Phil O'Donnell's death. Unacceptable 🤬🤬🤬🤬
I travelled from Alabama to Scotland to see this game. My friend had to scramble to find me a ticket! It was a fantastic experience!
Great Motherwell nostalgia - any chance of redoing in the proper 4:3 ratio?
The most emotionally draining experience of my life. A fantastic day, never to be forgotten, and delighted for Utd fans that they got to experience it a few years later.
Kirk's enterprise
Brave as a lion
Why do all people say this was Phil O' Donnell's last match when it wasn't?
For some reason this video has been attributed by many people as the live footage of his death.
@Inchigh74 technically, it was motherwell fans in the rangers end. hope you didnae get too wet...
I was 11...my 3rd final and 3rd defeat........had to wait another 4 years before that sweet, sweet win over the Undead
It was 3 years later not 4.

Finals without either of the "gruesome twosome" are always the best games.
