The Dylans, Top, Soup Dragons, The Five Thirty, Whiteout, Wolfgang Press, The Charlatans, The Farm, The Northside, Shed Seven etc. so many amazing bands that didn’t quite get the recognition but still have devotees on UA-cam listening and remembering. I could list a hundred other bands, but for now…it’s godlike time.
@jb8280 Shed Severn, the Soup dragons & the Charlatans were huge - the other bands didn't get the recognition because they were best described as "Indie landfill" at best.
Maybe they were better live, but they just seem like a rehash of everything that's been done. I was more focused on the Stone Roses, Happy Mondays and the Charlatans. I did like Inspiral Carpets as well. This band just seems like a record companies attempt to cash in on the baggy trend of the late 80s early 90s. I'm not impressed at all.
@@BMRCJAMC, that's quite the assumption about people with musical tastes. My taste in music is quite vast. Sometimes it's not about lyrical content but the vibe that is created by the music and the musicians. Much of the early punk movement featured people who couldn't play their instruments or made trite lyrics. Not every band from the initial surge of punk was as talented as Television. Would you consider people that followed some of those bands lacking in musical tastes as well?

It’s subjective to be sure. Some labels didn’t have the cash to properly promote them or snorted the profits like Alan McGee…heh.
Oh '91 was an awesome year for music.....still have a Dylans lemon badge somewhere!
Memories! Seen them in Gourock in 91 and they blew the roof off.
The two albums from The Dylans (self-titled & Spirit Finger) are two of the most underrated albums of ALL-TIME!
amazing! The spirit of early 90's
The 90s gave us some super cool music. This is up there with the best.
you can see how much like early Blur they were - just a shame they didn't have any song-writing ability whatsoever !
Musicianship. Perfectly crafted feel good song
Beyond belief classic
Alternative rock 90s
trippy video, great song, sooooo psychedelic!
OMG I just realized the singer is really CUTE! He mesmerizes me.....
The Tom Petty influence is stunning, very well done, good song too
Great album
I love the singer's hair!!!!
Saw them live. Had to laugh at the playlist. This was retitled as 'Gobshite'. 🤣🤣

The Inspiral Carpets were poor; couldn’t sing, poor lyrics….basically a group early teenagers liked. Anyone with music taste didn’t care for them.
