Did you ever make a video on why you went from PE (summer analyst) to IB for FT? Were you ever asked why you wanted to make this move when you were recruiting for FT opportunities? Thanks for all of your videos. The spam in the comments section is crazy.
amazing video, straight to the point, no ads in between, no switching back and forth not to mention no great/distracting hand gestures. Very nice video thank you
The first step to successful investing is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance - either on your own or with the help of a Financial Advisor. If you can get the facts about savings and investing with a well detailed plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your income.
It's not how much money you save in the bank, but how much money you earn and how hard it works for you. Money devalue over time, investment is the best option as it grows over time
Matt this is great stuff! Diving deeper and deeper into the roles of each member of an IB team and the type of work you do. This answers a lot of questions. Unfortunately, this raises some more questions. Most the advising part of the business model here seems to overlap with the Corporate Finance and Strategy practices at MBB and the advising practices at Big 4 accounting firms. Obviously the IB's are needed to help with raising capital (IPO, debt, etc), but the advising piece of the business seems like a lot of competition between banks, consulting, and accounting. I guess I know where the rivalry (real or imaginary) between consulting and IB comes from!! Cheers
Hi there, Recently watched some of your videos which are super helpful. My question are: 1.Which BBA is better to get into IB ; FINANCE or CS?Does CS tends to get easily hired comparatively? 2.Will it be helpful if I take BBA in computer engineering and Master in Finance in any way? 3.I want to be in IB but related to real estate , any advice on that? 4.Which divisions get you a lot of experiences related to finance? Which are the hardest and easiest divisions to work on? Please note that I am from target Uni but want to quench my thirst about hype of CS.
Hi, I am a student from Europe and I was wondering if it would be possible for me to land a fulltime offer in NY at a BB or EB after an exchange semester at Harvard? Is that possible in general?
Hey Matt, I'm trying to get into an hedgefund but there are some sayings that hedgefunds will soon be gone. I heard they aren't performing well these days. What are your views on hedge funds future?
I think they'll just continue to evolve. Hedge funds are still making a crazy amount of money... you're probably good for the next few decades at least.
What majors should someone be studying to get into investment banking ? I’m wondering cause my major is business administration which is broad and not very niche down and is the pay worth all the hours your putting into ?
I HAVE INCURRED SO MUCH LOSSES TRADING ON MY OWN...I TRADE WELL ON DEMO BUT I THINK THE REAL MARKET IS MANIPULATED... CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT OR AT LEAST TELL ME WHAT I'M DOING WRONG ?
I strongly advise you against self trading, it's really dangerous and had brought so many investors down, you need someone with the knowledge and strategies, someone dedicated to the crypto currency market business and I will strongly recommend expert Mrs Raghee Horner
Wtf, y'all know Mrs Raghee Horner too wow, she’s really a good trader, she’s my portfolio manager, her skills are top notch.didn’t take her for the famous type.
@@chloeharrt1005 I've got up to 700K returns since I came across Mrs Angela Cole Carr trading platform. My financial life has completely changed all thanks to Mrs Angela Cole Carr awesome trading strategies!!!

worked with in regards to financial service.
Great video! Just curious…. How many hours did you work at Evercore, and what was the work life balance like? Thanks!

1. Finance
2. I think computer engineering will be more of a distraction
3. There is real estate IB
Is that any differences between investment banks in the world? Specialy in their services?
They are all same?
