Hi Khanh, thank you for sharing your clinical techniques with us. Which goniolens do you use in this video? I don't like my Volk 4 mirror lens as the view is not stable and I don't know if I should invest a 3-mirror lens to start with? Do you have any advice based on your experience.
Practice makes perfect! I'm using the 3 mirror gonio here in this video because it's required by the NBEO but personally I love the 4 mirror more! It's faster/more efficient and the patient isn't as squirmy. Plus you're able to push in!
Hi. your videos are very helpful for me. I am just confused. Did you rinse all ocular instrument and dry them with Kim wipe after biomicroscopy or just state it?
Thank you so much for your videos. I am taking this exam soon and am so nervous. To clarify on the focusing rod part, when you mentioned it with your disclaimer, did you mean we could just insert the rod during the 5 mins, or insert AND focus during the 5 min before the station starts?
Hi! That’s a great question! You can insert the rod and actually focus it during the 5 minute before the station starts. Take your time and make sure it’s nice and focused during your prep time. It’s required in the rubric so during the station you have to do it but you can just motion it and quickly check since it’s already focused from before
