The first time I encountered the concept of wabi-sabi was during my visit to Japan in 2023. I was immediately drawn to its appreciation for the beauty found in simplicity, imperfection, and the natural flow of life. The harmony it embraces-through understated elegance, nature, and the passage of time-resonated deeply with me because it reminds me to slow down and appreciate life's imperfections instead of constantly seeking perfection. This mindset has had a calming influence on how I view both my surroundings and daily experiences.
I admire how wabi-sabi encourages us to find peace and beauty in everyday moments and imperfections, reflecting a way of living that aligns with nature rather than striving for perfection.
This video is an excellent resource for my future home. It came at the perfect time, as I’m beginning to explore design options for my upcoming house construction here in San Jose, California. If you're interested, maybe we could connect to discuss ideas further. Thank you for a wonderful video and keep up the good work!! Just subscribed to your channel. :)
