I found out about Dennis Brain via my day job as a record dealer. I began to notice the Columbia Mozart Horn Concerto L.P. in every classical collection I purchased. After research found out he died in that dreadful car accident in the A1 Barnet Bypass at the junction with Wellfield Road. I still find it a bit spooky that Wellfield Road leads onto French Horn Lane.
all of the slides are pulled way out! brain had the third, second and stop valve pushed in to about a quarter of an inch and the first slide out about an inch. i have an alex 90 too and it works quite well. especially if you use the third valve for the fourth line d
It's amazing that he used a single b flat and people nowadays can't get enough tubes on their horn
Richard sounds amazing on any type of horn!
Thank you for doing this. This is incredibly important to keep Dennis Brain's legacy alive. Amazing
Thank you for watching! We agree!
