I just need it to tell time and buzz when I get a text or call... It does a lot more than that... So I'm happy... The heart rate monitor seems to even work .. @@-xYz--nk1gm

So I tried updating... And it errrored out a bunch, I took it off the charger.. had the same issue.. finally I put it back on the charger and the update finished.. kept kicking out at 25% any way... Seems to be working now... One thing I noticed, before the update heart rate would error out if I had a hard surface behind it.. now it detects a pulse on my counter... I had tested it before the update and when I worked out it went up and settled back down... So I restarted and tested heart rate against Apple SE and the Bpm are actually aligning pretty closely...

Imat, is d old hw 3+ different from d new gen, can't we upgrade the old one to this new version.
It looks quite similar to the process we had for the Hello Watch 3+ to update it to the newer UI. Who knows it is also an update just like Hello Watch 3 and Hello Watch 3 + 👀

@@iMAT Thank you for your quick response. Sadly the developer options don't help in this case. It seems that some important files are missing in the firmware. E.g. accessibility_service_config.xml 😪
UPDATE: For anyone who cares: I think I found a workaround for this problem. Google for: "android enthusiasts accessibility service android missing"

How much memory does it have?
It is advertised to come with 1 Gigabytes (1024 Megabytes) unlike the older gen with 4 Gigabits (512 Megabytes)

After upgrade, in the final part the update, the screen went and stayed totally blank. After the upgrade the software sees the watch. Seems like the watch is working but screen isn’t. Factory reset doesn’t work either. The Qfit is showing the version is 2.00.12. I think the update failed.
Can you try pressing and holding all of the keys together for a few seconds, and was the smartwatch charged enough?
@@iMATI fully charged it before updating. When I press and hold all the buttons I get a buzz after a couple of seconds, an indication it’s doing something. But nothing on the screen. I think the firmware update failed somehow. Just my luck!
@@iMAT It’s good for everyone to know what they get into if their order doesn’t work. The customer service is worse than zero. They haven’t bothered watching the video I sent them yet. And I think they don’t want to treat this as a DOA unit. They sent a quick line: “Ok bro, later we check video. if have problem we have warranty”.
Does the screen turns on? Even on a blank screen? Or is it just a buzz?

@@iMAT the screen is totally off. I checked in total dark. It went off half way through the UI upgrade. But the LeWear software sees it fine. And it vibrates when it’s supposed to. I even installed a new watch face. It was very slow and took a hell of a long time though. The current firmware is already upgraded to 2.00.12. I’ll try when a new one comes out.

iMat I can’t update my old hello watch 3+.. the firmware version of my watch was 4.10.57 not 1.0.0.07
No update even debug was turned ON..
@@onamel03 dis new Gen is different from the old HW 3+ so it can't be upgraded for now untill programmers find their way in and patch it to fit for the old HW 3+

You have an old version. It's a different update for every HW watch. HW3 doesn't have any new updates.
But do I need to update in both apps Qfit and lewear? There is confusion in the video.
