I have a 1998 cord explorer that will crank but one start. It was sitting for about 4 years after my father passed. Once I towed it to my house I started with the basics. I replaced the following: Battery Oil/oil filter Fuel pump and old fuel Fuel filter Spark plugs Spark plug wires Ignition coils EGR valve Crank shaft censor Air idle control valve Still no luck. I checked all the fuses under the hood inside the box and the relays. They all passed. I didn’t check the fuses inside the car under the steering wheel. Would any of those fuses cause an issue with the car not starting?
Hello. Why do you recommend a ‘25? I have a 97 Ford Expedition and Its blown thru 2 fuses already which were ‘5 Would that be the problem that it’s not the correct number?
He didn't recommend 25 that's actually the fuse that's supposed to be in there he said only in an emergency that you can go to number 20 typically whatever color that you see you are to match it exactly with the proper numbers that coincide with it. if you had a fuse that was a five then someone incorrectly placed that fuse in that slot that's why you blowing the fuse. a 5 fuse can't carry the current of a 25 so it blows out
@@IROOKLYN my guages are not working on a 1997 f 150 all i did was fix the odometer and plugged it all back up and nothing...also looks like some ribbon has come loose on back of cluster...how do i fix that?
Yep. Fixed mine. Almost ordered a whole new cluster as I was getting tired of guessing how much gas I had. Thanks.
Thank you for showing me how to fix my 97 ford explorer guages, God bless you 🙏
