Hello Antione, I am a big fan of the Hisense C1 lifestyle projector, although I dont own one yet. The Hisense C1 has been rated, by reviewers I trust, including yourself, as the best performing and highest quality cinematic projector in the lifestyle category. But I've been disappointed by a few features that it didn't have which caused me to delay my purchase. I am waiting it out for the C2 series projectors to be released later this year for the following reasons: FYI, I have a home theater setup which is nearly identical to yours. 1. The C1 model is consider problematic in a room, such as mine, that has some daytime ambient light. It is one of the lowest lumens producing projectors in the "high-end" lifestyle projector category and therefore mostly regarded as a great "home theater" projector for light controlled(dark) rooms. The C2 series models raise the lumens from the C1's test-rated 1200 lumens to up to 3000 lumens depending on the C2 model selected. There are expected to be 3-4 different models ranging from 1700-3000 lumens. 2. I prefer not to mount my projector in the middle of my ceiling. Your projector is mounted too far away from the screen which is why you have to use the "magical" DIGITAL zoom feature to reduce the image to your required screen size. Using digital processing to adjust the image size reduces the overall quality of the source. This issue is due to the C1 having a fixed, non-zooming optical lens. The new C2s are slated to have 1.5x OPTICAL zoom lens which should allow you to sit the projector on the shelf behind your sofa and adjust the image size without losing source/image quality. Im well aware of this issue as I have the JMGO N1 1080p projector in my game room which also requires digital zoom adjustments due to it also having a fixed lens. 3. I'm a BIG fan of 3D which the C1 does NOT have. A major DEALBRAKER for why I didn't purchase the C1. Hisense was clearly paying attention to the feedback on the C1's and upgraded the C2's to include 3D. Bravo for that! For Icing on the cake they are also including Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced processing features. ( Im aware that the current C1 has Dolby Vision). The new C2's will also have the same rotating gimbal-style stand for easier positioning currently found on the JMGO projectors. Antione, As a fan of your reviews and a prospective buyer of the Hisence lifestyle projectors, I REALLY appreciate your follow up review! Your reviews are terrific and fun to watch. Just throwing in my 2 cents. Peace Bruh✊🏾
Thanks for watching the video. Sorry, ro hear you're having issues with the brightness of yours. As you can see in the video, mine works really well with ambient light, even though these projectors and my screens isn't designed for that. I haven't heard any news about a C2 yet, but now you've got me excited about it. If they throw in Google TV and a remote that illuminates when you pick it up... I'm SOLD!
Over this past year the Hisense C1 projector was the highest rated in terms of cinematic quality in the high-end lifestyle projector class. Its only getting better as Hisense is releasing the C2 series of projectors in the next few months. The C2s will include an Optical zoom lens, 3D and IMax enhanced processing, Dolby Vision, and a built in positioning gimbal-style stand similar to the one found on JMGO N1 series projectors. The C2 will be the C1 on steroids.
My video of the JMGO N1S Ultra will be uploaded this Wednesday. It's a really awesome projector as well. I definitely like the gimbal style setup. Compared to the C1, overall I still choose the C1 for user customization.
I bought this projector after watching your first review, the picture is perfect even without the screen. I have been waiting a long time for such a projector.
Thanks for the great review! How would you say this projector compares to the newly released XGIMI Horizon S Max? Especially for rooms that cannot be pitch dark, and for which image size is not the most important thing. Thanks!
Hi Brother, I bought Hisense C1S the Chinese version of Hisense C1, because it has 3D. But I didn’t know that it doesn’t support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. I want to know, is there a big difference between those formats keeping the picture quality of this projector or a negligible difference? Thanks in Advance 🙏🏻
Dolby vision give you more contrast and richer colors. I'm not sure you will appreciate the difference. However, if you have a proper sound system, Dolby Atmos will blow your mind.
I bought one a few months back in the UK. Just yesterday I had an update and now I find the picture has gone dim even though I found the picture to be almost perfect on standard now it's gone dim and I'm having to use dynamic to get a brighter picture. Also I'm unable to change Eco mode or standard mode.. It's dissappeared
Antione, Do you not want to show us that off-screen is the same "Wilson" from the "Castaway" movie🤣🤣 Just bustin your🥜🥜. Came back to watch a Great video! 👍🏾

Just wait for C2 it should be out in October, the main difference is the brightness, it should be much brighter

Perfect Timing. Impressed with Hisense as a brand, let's hope they get this right with their Projector Line Up as well as they did with their LEDs.

@@NewStuffTV1 I'll be interested in seeing your comparison verdict on the gimbal design when the C2's are released.
do you think its better than the Dangbei DBOX02 Mars Pro 2 ?

Glad you're loving it!

I would suggest you to wait for the hisense c2 Ultra and then decide

@@NewStuffTV1 Thank you Brother for the prompt response.
But this does has HDR10+, I hope that would fill in.
@wasimshaik3727 That's pretty equivalent.
Ah yeah, I just saw some Ghost Recon. Hope they complete the new one. Great game.
Great review!
1,400 bucks on Amazon right now.
The C2 is coming. I'm curious how it compares. I'll wait to see it.
When you autofit the screen size, are you not cropping the image massively? Your projector should be closer, no?
Just ordered mine
I have this one with calibrate profil ICC on computer works fine 👍

Is that banding camera related or is it the projector?
It will be a camera thing. It's very difficult to film projectors to make them appear up to the quality that they deliver straight down your eyeballs
@MidLoafCrisis I totally get it, just wanted to make sure lol I just ordered the Hisense C2 last night so was researching C1
Yes, it's the camera
Bruh, the C2 just came out!
I know! I can't wait to try that one and the PX3-PRO
Antione,
Do you not want to show us that off-screen is the same "Wilson" from the "Castaway" movie🤣🤣

😁😁😁👍👍👍👐👐👐👐👐🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Não gostei das imagens citilantes principalmente em cores claras.
