Thanks again for the promasters specific education. I considered trying a tow dolly, but now I'm really glad I just rented a (not uhaul) equipment trailer that worked great to get my salvage auction van home.
@@DaleKlein viable solution, but many of those equipment trailers are designed to haul heavy backhoes and whatnot, meaning the trailer itself is super heavy. That limits what you are able to pull them with.
@@natashalaitysnyder6098 You are not an idiot, that is good rational thinking. It wouldnt work, mainly because the tail of the setup would be free to just go where ever it pleases - like into oncoming traffic. But it definitely would add to the excitement factor!
With a normally outfitted broke down Promaster, tow companies must just love them PITA puppies. Fat tall and heavy. Is a high roof Promaster over 13’6” on a flatbed tow truck? And have you seen the new H3 supper high roof yet?
Seen the high roof on dealer lots, but never been inside one yet. My feeling is that unless you have some reason to be that tall, the regular high roof is more than enough.

Thanks for the musical accompaniment.
@@GarryFishermusic sped up video + fast tempo music = instant benny hill.
Glad to see the truck is somewhat functional. I’m just an idiot but could you tow the van backwards giving you wheels that turn?

Master Tow also makes an 80" dolly
@@johnwren3976 news to me. Will check it out.
You ain’t heavy your my pro master yah yah yah
Humm. Perhaps a custom tow rig should be made? Specially for promasters.
@@danthesupercontractorhvac9690 there are other options. Regular light weight flat trailer works, if you have 80” between the wheelwells
Could you weld or bolt that dolly pivot point so it doesn't turn and bind up?
@@jrod332 i suppose you could make something that locks it so you can back up, but if it didnt swivel you would never be able to turn at all.
Have you ever tried to leave the steering wheel unlocked so the towed van would swivel a little?
@@davidemelander9322 that’s all in the video at the end.
@@promastersonly1419 oh I see watch whole video then comment.
I want to try it.
Suggestion, most UA-camrs don’t record in “HDR”, your vids blind my sensitive face balls, want to keep watching them!!
@@leblancexplores i’ll look into that. Plays normally on all my devices.
Nobody puts Dolly in a corner or a quick turn
@@GarryFishermusic if i made dollies, I’d call it the Hello Dolly, or Camel Tow.

Thank you for the laugh 🤣
Did you have to wear a bullet proof vest going to Detroit? =]
@@censoredeveryday3320 nah. Detroit is fine.
