Correction mamoswine started to obey dawn after the episode when it was injured cz of a wild aggron. During that episode dawn healed mamoswine and cz of that mamoswine started to obey dawn. The reason mamoswine didnt listen to dawn during the contest battle against james, was cz mamoswine lost its temper.

The entire reason why dawn works is that she's the only one out of all of ash's companioms that truely feels like a dual protagonist on the same level as ash. Its also why pearlship works, dawn is a true, female version of ash (not a ash but girl, but truely feminine version of ash)

I rewatched all of the Pokemon DP anime in Japanese, including all of the movies, and the Pokemon DP movies really showed off the true power of Ash and Dawn's relationship.
When I saw Dawn return in the Journeys series, I was over the moon to see her again, and every time since then was a treat. Pearlshipping has a special place in my heart because of the dynamic between Ash and Dawn, and when she left, I didn't like seeing her go. It took a long time, but when Journeys happened, we were treated with not one appearance, not two, not three, but four appearances, and her being there for Ash's biggest battle spoke volumes to me.
And this is why Dawn is easily my favorite pokegirl. We have many great pokegirl. But Dawn, in my opinion, had the best development through writing, the most spirit, and the closest bonds with hr pokemon.
Always loved that Dawn was the one who inspired Ash to come up with Counter Shield, his best battle strategy yet. When Leon, the grand champion, is praising it and using it himself, you know it’s awesome. And it stemmed from Dawn’s contest battles. Also, eff you Ambipom, you no good turncoat! Glad we got Togekiss over his treacherous ass, but it was still a dirty move.
The nature of Ursula's rivalry with Dawn brings to mind May's rivalry with Harley, as Ursula acts like Harley did. Thank god Miette (one of Serena's rivals) was never as bad as either Harley or Ursula, especially since she's never publicly humiliated Serena in any way.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and the Hoenn series are my all time anime favorites. I liked Pokemon XY but mostly because of Serena. The Kanto arc was the perfect introduction of the series but most of the fondness I had was from nostalgia.
We need another season of Ash & Dawn travelling together & at the end they become Pokemon Master & Top Coordinator respectively. It’ll be a fitting end as now the storyline is still stuck.
Here's a fanfic we can go by, after saying goodbye to Ash in the Unova region, Dawn went on to become a better coordinator. And some time right before Ash was about to face Leon, Dawn had finally become a top coordinator and was facing Ursula in the final round. With her goal completed, she wanted to be there for Ash in person to cheer him on in his battle against Leon.
Aipom leaving all of a sudden with no build nor logic was a shame. Dawn had a great run & had a strong diverse team. Her return in Gen 8 was poor but Galar had no theme nor exploration of Galar nor the gyms there

Which Mega evolved Pokémon do you think would suit Dawn? A lot of people think it's Lopunny but it's doubtful that she'd want to evolve her Buneary anytime soon
I think lopunny would be the first choice, but if she doesn’t ever evolve bunneary, then I think mega Absol. Dawn has quite a lot of type diversity and I think having a dark or psychic type would be a great challenge for her since her team has very elemental types (water, fire, ice, ground, electric, and flying). And I really like the idea of Mega absol because it’s also more of elegant beauty like her togekiss has. Her OG 3 are very small and cute, and then she starts growing and evolving that style a little with ambipom then especially with Mamoswine then togekiss. Plus seeing dawns Absol against her moms Umbreon would be so fun!

@@LuapXD i was hoping when i first heard scarlet/violet would have routes that you could choose from i thought surely it was the return of pokecontests but done like the anime buuuttttt no. I got team star instead and titans. Lol not complaining by any means i still enjoyed the game but i really was (will always be) hoping for an anime style poke contests route or game.

Like, in the first round of the Sinnoh League, we knew Ash wasn’t gotten lose, of course 😒 But they did not need to Nando so dirty like that! 😫 I get that Nando was definitely more of “ contest guy “, but he isn’t weak. He has potential, and he had a great group of Pokemon ( possibly even more, but I guess we’ll never know 😭 ) Not to mention, they didn’t even give the poor bard a return/cameo appearance in Journeys!

My thoughts on Dawn:
Dawn was another Pokegirl that company Ash in his Journey that rooting for Ash in every Pokemon battle they even swamped their Pokèmon to give a hand to each other the iconic high five in every victory was my fave, i agree that making fun of her as DD is not funny at all.
The relationship between Ash and Dawn are like fellas that like no other, however Dawn choosen Kenny over Ash who knows what's the future holds Kenny end up with Dawn? LOL.😅
Dawn was the only pokegirl who were more ferious in terms of dealing with Paul the most obnoxious trainer in the series.😂

Were compac to each other in terms of their closeness, they were fought creating bond so that Aipom cab be close as he close with Ash, Aipom can't help but he wanted to join Ping Pong contest with the guy that gave him that offer to be the very best Ping Pong Pokemon like no ping Pong Pokemon ever was Dawn and Aipom saying goodbye.😢

Additional thought on Dawn and Memoswine:
Memoswine was her Pokemon that disobedient Pokémon due to lack of trust, just like Pichu in the game if we make Pichu lost over and over, our Pichu won't evolve into Pikachu, the case was the same i guess, way the go Dawn you eventually trust you fully as his trainer he obdient to her after they built their trust.
Lesson:
Don't just keep your Pokèmon inside the pokèball train them so that they know you better, be confident delivering command, some trainers inconfident in training them.
Dawn and Pipelupe:
Their bond are so strong indeed, she choosen Piplupe to be her first Pokèmon, at first she didn't know anything on stratigies, tecnics, and so on as time went on she became convinient with her battle style practice makes perfect she was the playful pokegirl in that season.😁

Which Mega evolved Pokémon do you think would suit Dawn? A lot of people think it's Lopunny but it's doubtful that she'd want to evolve her Buneary anytime soon
If not Lopunny I’ll go with basic Altaria
I think lopunny would be the first choice, but if she doesn’t ever evolve bunneary, then I think mega Absol. Dawn has quite a lot of type diversity and I think having a dark or psychic type would be a great challenge for her since her team has very elemental types (water, fire, ice, ground, electric, and flying). And I really like the idea of Mega absol because it’s also more of elegant beauty like her togekiss has. Her OG 3 are very small and cute, and then she starts growing and evolving that style a little with ambipom then especially with Mamoswine then togekiss. Plus seeing dawns Absol against her moms Umbreon would be so fun!

To this day im very mixed about dawn defeating dawn. Sure she needed a win to get her confidence, but on the other hand the win felt like plot armor to me.
