  • This was the original maple stock from a Glenfield Marlin 1973 Model 60. It had seen better days and was going to be thrown away. I had an idea to carve something into it, and it has been a work in progress for at least 3 months. I inlayed copper wiring and aluminum into it for some shiny bits, and stained and refinished it. I also had a candid family portrait laser etched into it. It is now fit to be a family heirloom, to be passed down. The Laser etching was done by my friend at / etchosketch , or
