- As a 25 year celebration Bogner has released a 25 watt version of the iconic Ecstasy amplifier. Featuring three gain channels taken from it’s big brother, the Ecstasy 25 stays true to the tone and feel of it’s big brother, which made the original Ecstasy a true icon in high gain world.
Powered by a duet of EL84’s the Ecstasy 25 is packed with many voicing and switching options.
It features a Vintage Mode, which turns channel 2 into the classic Plexi Mode of the original Ecstasy 101b, and channel 3 into the popular Blue Channel.
With the Dynamic Mode, it switches between the classic 101b voicing and the newer 20th Anniversary voicing.
With the lower wattage the Ecstasy 25 really shines at lower volumes, but still has lot’s of volume and headroom left to keep up with any live gig.
Also featured is a Balanced XLR Virtual Mic Out and a built-in reactive load with virtual controls for voicing, mic position and axis controls. All three channels + boost + FX loop can be controlled via the included footswitch.
We’re demoing the Bogner Ecstasy 25 on a 1x12 cabinet.

I got a quick guitar lesson from Iommi and Schenker (pure luck, right place, right time), so I'm pretty unimpressed usually, but yes, the playing was quite to my liking :O)
Indeed he can play amazing- I have a goal to someday play at this level. Well it takes years of dedication and practice and improvement.

So if you have an Atma I have to ask...or do I...do you love it? I've been planing to go try one...but I'm sure after a couple years of dreaming, I'll like it if it is missing tubes...LOL! It would be a week before I came down and actually listened to it. Is it as good as I think it is? Can it make me not spend the extra for this one? Please say yes...to all...LOL!
@@TheDogPa I dreamed about purchasing the Atma for 3 years. I absolutely love it. Make sure it always powers on in vintage mode (or you'll burn through power tubes). The Atma is Like a mini ecstacy..I just Want this mini ecstacy too. I'd be lying if I said the Atma wasn't worth buying.

@@TheDogPa I purchased a red shiva extension cabinet instead. Still would like to have one of those though, they seem really cool! Currently I run it through a H&K TM 1x10 cabinet and I cant get enough of it.

No mid on the clean + bright switch (left side, over the jack input).
P/T/M/B for the drive channels. (on the right side of the amp)
I don't have any depth control on my XTC 20th, so i don't think there is one on this amp either.

Why do companies keep putting direct outs only capable of cab sims (I’m looking at you Mesa mark v 25)... 99% of the users out there want to use their own IR’s these days, so add the option to disable cab sim... 🙄 this is my dream amp for every reason besides that

Sounds fantastic, but I have the ATMA and I don't hear a lot of difference between that and this.
how is it possible to use the fx loop like master volume?
You can engage the FX loop and use the return level control as the volume control. 🤘 - Theo Jr.

Yes, it’s a fixed bias, while the Atma is cathode bias
