A very enjoyable video. No unnecessary music or talking! And what a lovely car. Beautiful to look at and to hear. For me, the Ghibli is my favorite GT of all time. That color suits it so well by the way.
Glad you enjoyed it! We always make our driving videos about nothing but the CAR. Thinking about doing videos with talking in them, but if we ever do they'll be completely separate from the driving videos.
Thanks very much! In the era of buying cars online sight-unseen, we believe wholeheartedly that the driving video is the best way to convey the driving experience to potential buyers. Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you for this quality video of such a lovely piece of Italian automotive history. Thank you for the great audio of the car's natural engine note and road noise. And above all thank you for resisting the temptation succumbed to by so many morons on YT of blasting stupid rock music over clips like this!
You're welcome for all of the above! Our drive videos accompany our auction listings on bringatrailer.com, so rather than a cinematic production with music, we aim to convey the driving experience to potential buyers above all else. After all, if you're going to buy an investment-grade automobile sight-unseen, you need all of the photos/videos you can get your hands on!
A pure delight to drive, and honestly easier on the arms than a Daytona. See the drive video we just posted... Drivers arms were tired after that! Not so in the Ghibli.
Thanks for asking. Our sound capturing setup has evolved over the years, but as of the making of this particular video we were using what we still use today. A digital multi-track recording unit with 2 mics. We use drum mics to be specific, since they have a very high max SPL (made to listen to loud noises!). One mic on the outside near the exhaust, and one mic on the inside to capture a fuller sound, and interior queues like the click of a gated shifter, etc. We synchronize these with the video in post-production. Hope you enjoy! PS - we don't run this advanced setup on all cars, just the ones with a worthy rumble like this Ghibli!
One of the most beutiful cars of all time

Absolutely gorgeous. I wanted one of those when I was a kid.
The downshifts sound so good!
No words, no words from me can explain this experience to someone.
nice work. reminds me why I love my Guzzi. big pull bottom to top and tall gearing. and a great sound.

a running dream....
Meravigliosa.
😍😍💯. Beautiful!
how did you find this video?
@@fantasyjunction1 I just purchased my second Maserati. It’s a Ghibli. I’m preparing to post a video on my channel about the car and it’s lineage
A Sonic Masterpiece. One could drive it all day and every night, stopping only for fuel and food.

sì, assolutamente sono macchine belle e veloci
Wonderful car, but challenging drive as well (some of those bends must have been close to 270 degrees) and the hills as well.

How much faster does this Ghibli feel and measure compared to a Mercedes 300SEL 6,3 V8 sedan or Corvette C3 L46 of that time ?
Had a '69 4.7, Euro spec. Drove like an elegant truck but so beautiful. AM115870. Wonder where it is now.
nice car!!
agent phoenix: **starts talking**
him: i knew i shouldnt have bought the car thats similar
What equipment did you use to record the sound? A wireless mic on the back?
