Why is there a hand behind him
In Shia Islam that hand ornament is a pulpit decoration usually used in East Africa & South East Asia Islamic centers. This hand symbolizes the special 5 whom God loves dearly: Prophet Muhammad A.S Fatima A.S Ali A.S Hasan A.S & Hussain A.S. You probably refer to them as Hadith Kisa or from Quran 33:33. Their names and the quranic verses are usually etched on it.
A.S = May God bestow His peace and blessings upon them.

Hajj is a title given to anyone who has completed a pilgrimage to mecca. Its very nice to call someone Hajj. Just to let you know, this channel has no affiliation with Hajj Hassanain.
