Loving this series! Got a brain itch on this one. The no soup group (excellent band name) would be a better control if they were given the same ingredients for lunch, prepared as not soup. Or something with similar nutritional value. Otherwise they might underperform due to thirst or dehydration.

that's what i was thinking!! you'd fs have to consider how testing on an empty stomach could impact memory compared to testing after a warm meal
