Energy Essentials for Witches and Spellcasters by Mya Om is the one I wish was available when I first started. Answered so many questions about energy work in magic.
Practical Solitary Magic by Nancy B. Watson is another great intro to magic. Love her personal stories.
Magical Power for Beginners by Deborah Lipp feels like it could be a textbook if there was a real world version of Hogwarts! Great stuff.
Another personal favorite book of mine is Postmodern Magic by Patrick Dunn. So much ground covered in such an interesting and well-written way. Wish the print version was still in print, since I hear the ebook isn’t done well.
I also have the Inner and Outer Temple books by Penczak (as well as a lot of his other titles) and am trying to work through the Inner Temple for the umpteenth time! I like it but I always end up going through another book or training system that resonates more with me. Not sure if I’ll ever fully work through the Outer Temple because direct energy work and astral/inner temple stuff is more my speed, but we’ll see.

The only way I got through ITOW and OTOW was because I went through it on Patreon and felt bad if I didn’t keep my schedule 😅 otherwise I’d still be picking it up and dropping it
