im from southern costa rica, i have been to a few places you guys went , i dont know if it was the first time you came to the country but i think the places you both went were good choices, sometimes with nature it requires good luck to see all the animals but i hope you find Costa Rica very green :) like any country it has its issues but i feel quite proud to have grown up in a place were most people have a deep respect for mother nature (pachamama) . my family used to rent some land to pineapple production in 2014 after my father pass away we stop the contract and ive been reforesting the land since 2017, is dozens of km2, im really happy to see lots of animals returning to the area, i loved my dad he gave work to lots of people he was a really kind man, it was a diferent time back then (mid 2000s) he try the best he could but i think i have debt to pay to the mountain and feel like im on the right path to pay that debt , money is okey but material things are nothing compared to how we humans feel in nature - i dont know, is just magical-i think my father would be proud of what im trying to do .. i hoped you had a great vacation and thank you very much for visited this country :) .
