The Mezuzah is a beautiful tradition. I am not of the Jewish faith, but as a Christian, I decided to adopt the Mezuzah for my home's doorways. It may not be kosher but I think God will understand.

Writing as an Am Haaretz, I find it sad that the question is even asked. The Janitor, the Goy, picked up the mezuzah up off of the floor, a kiddish HaShem if there ever was one. He knew the mezuzah had to be put back and he put it back himself instead of taking one of the yeshiva buchers away from their studies. He honors HaShem and you basically tell him that he isn't worthy of honoring HaShem. You call him a goy but yet you don't seem to understand how poorly you treated him in light of the numerous commandments in the Torah to treat the Goy (you called him a goy, the same word the Torah uses regardless of how else it is understood) properly. Do you question the widow and orphan in a similar way (since they are often mentioned along side the goy for proper treatment)?
Maybe instead of spending valuable time on this you should have spent your time doing some good in this world as the janitor, whose worth you question, did.
    Have a nice day, Zadek.

The mezuzot are the DOOR POSTS and that word appears in exodus 12:22 "ve el shetei hamezuzot" - " and strike the lintel andTHE TWO SIDE POSTS with the blood " ...the mezuzot is NOT the little box that jewish tradition uses, so it is not that relevant to discuss who has the RIGHT to use it. IT is only TRADITION not commandment of God.

On every door is overkill.Just the front and rear doorpost is fine.To stop the angel of death it was only necessary to paint blood on the front doorpost not all door posts. Its fine to use 3M double sided tape to secure your Mezuzah as that is actually stronger then nails.

@@theonlymeaning Correction: We are not Jewish directly. Our YDNA goes back, directly, to King Minos of Crete from the Knossos Palace. King Minos was exiled to Europa's residence in the Fortress/Palace of Tyre in Lebanon (1,900 B.C.). King Minos line later includes King Hasdrubal the first (530 B.C) of Carthage. His ancestor helped Queen Elissa of Tyre to build Carthage in modern day Tunisia. King Minos' mother is Europa, she also had blonde hair but I think she had blue eyes. King Minos had blonde hair and grey eyes (My YDNA results indicates these features and it details the features of my ancestors - RM269 PF6517). The Jewish relatives are from females carrying Jewish ancestry, it is not direct. King Minos and his line later were Bull worshippers and Baal worshippers and most likely mixed with the Phoenicians population (as my YDNA line report indicates). Ok, the Jewish relatives are children of Aaron (Moses' brother which means Moses' father and Khazarian royals of southern Russia. The later connection is through the Hungarian and Kievan Rus Royal relatives who came over to the Venice Kingdom.. One DNA connection includes Attila the Hun which is mixed with the Royal Arpad family of Hungary and this mix includes Khazarian royal connections with Central Asian royals and nobility houses of the past all the way to China's Royal dynasties. The Aaron family tree is the Cohen family most likely occured in the middle ages during the reign of our cousins - Plantagenet dynasty (where we get the red rose on our coat of arms - Lancaster faction). My Gerardi is Gerardi - Minos' line not to get confused with many other Gerardi nobility families not sharing the same YDNA and later families connections (we may have intermarried with another "Gerardi" family from Eastern Turkey region?). Our near cousins from the Carthage era is the children of Hannibal - Visconti Sforza family members. They ruled parts of Italy in the past, we have intermarried with them more often (as my YDNA line report indicates). Now, just recent, most likely in the Naples kingdom era, we have ties to the Rothschild cadet branch. Most likely a connection in the 1800's or earlier? My YDNA line is ancient Greek Bull worshippers that goes through parts of Turkey where a more ancient kingdom existed. There is a genetic connection to Pharaoh Ramses the third but it may be through a Nobility family in England/Scotland are during Catholic Plantagenet era or an earlier ancient connection where King Minos' exiled children assisted the Pharaoh Ramses the third. I was born Catholic in Panama, so I am good. 👍 There are other ancient Akkadian DNA connections but that could be a Napoleon Bonaparte family connection? This could be an ancestor of King Minos' who married an Akkadian princess before the building of the Knossos Palace in Crete or Napoleon Bonaparte family tree. The Gerardi-Minos Nobility family has DNA connections to many ancient Royal, Carthage , Roman, and modern Royal families.

Is it possible that all the time spent learning the rules taking care not to break one, having discussions over it and possibly taking even more time to correct a problem would have been better spent helping our fellow man. straining gnats, swallowing camels:
WITH THE MESSIAH YOU DONT NEED AN ORAL TORAH: Abraham saw his day and was glad and he didn't have the ORAL TORAH:
Jer 31 explains (TO THOSE WHO BOTHER READING THE BIBLE) that Messiah who brings the NEW COVENANT is NOT going to happen like the first time when Hashem took Israel out of Egypt but now it will happen to INDVIDUALS who must be tried individually to see if their SOUL has DESIRED the NEW covenant enough to ENTER INTO IT:
DOES the TRUE ISRAEL EVEN EXIST TODAY?
Rebecka also gave birth to Esau (hairy, the physical part of Jacob who is the SOUL): Most of Rebecka's children never reached their soul, their Jacob and are still walking around as Esau thinking they have ascended the ladder as well. No, Jacob has to supplant Esau in you and Hashem said Jacob (the soul) I have loved but Esau I hated: WHY? Because Jacob the SOUL alone can REACH HASHEM, ascend to Hashem and become Israel and bring PEACE even to his twin self. Esau can not repent (do teshuvah) so its up to the SOUL to ascend. Instead, Esau goes around hating his soul to this day and claiming the birth right (ANOINTING) that he did not get, which Jacob alone can receive: GO TELL YOUR RABBIS, all of them, to help you find Jacob and get him to RISE in these last days or Esau has nothing to look forward to either
most of the Jews actually think Esau their own twin are the nations???? WHAT KIND OF THINKING is that? If he is, then he is also Rebecka's child so he is still a BROTHER:
adding a message to the Christians who support Esau, thinking they are supporting Israel, the only reason you don't know the difference is because YOUR SOUL is also NOT ASCENDED, not anointed, so you can't HEAR God either because only with the anointing given by the HOLY SPIRIT alone, can you see and hear God, become TRUE WITNESSES TODAY:
FINDING our soul is our only hope because the SOUL ALONE can JOIN to God, who alone can bring PEACE to his creation. The SOUL must DESIRE to RISE and this is the ONLY MESSAGE OF THE WHOLE BIBLE, Torah, Tanakh and NT. Its not enough to read about it:
two things will happen at judgment: 1) you will see you lived a lie and 2) you will finally SEE THE TRUTH:
THE FIRST ADAM IN WHOM WE ALL DIED IS ANTI-CHRIST because HE didn't choose the GOOD ROOT (Christ-Messiah, the ANOINTING) but listened to the evil root (Satan) who became the god of this world (ANTICHRIST): The only reason you can't see that is because the whole world is LYING IN THE POWER OF THE WICKED ONE:
There is no blame for listening to Satan: The heart (Eve) wanted more than what it had, which was by design: God wanted more for the heart, for Man, which he wanted to make in his image and LIKENESS: But being LIKE God, you have to know evil and good and KNOW how to work them TOGETHER for GOOD: You have to know both and choose wisely which is ONLY possible with the ANOINTING (Christ, the Messiah rising in you and WITH YOU.

Those traditions mean nothing , if someone’s heart is not pure! Things can not save you, only being a good human being and loving God!

      It's not a tradition, it's a mitzvah from Hashem. That's not nothing.

Even if your heart is not 100% pure, whatever good you do in this world still counts for something. You shouldn't give up if you're not perfect.

    Hello, 🐦
God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ(His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. Then, He grew up and died on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Jesus Christ sincerely to be God's child John 1:12. "But as many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE on HIS name." That is great news! Will you sincerely receive Holy, Lord Jesus into your life today?

Nihilism is the real nonsense! The complexity of creation itself demands faith in its divine intervention. As a great Jew once said, "My wonder of God is my wonder of the Universe."-Albert Einstein "Split a piece of wood and you will find me. Overturn a moss covered stone and I am there." Fortunately like Eric I rely on the grace of the blood on Calvary. I daily pray to the Son, Holy Mother and Spirit to help me keep the seven laws of Moses but more importantly love the Father above all else and my neighbor as myself. By doing this things it's impossible to break the laws. It's also impossible to always love God above all and to treat a terrible neighbor as an equal. I repent and try again. I also believe Yeshua was the only begotten Son of Elohim or El Shaddai for me and by believing in Him and faithly attempting to follow His two commands I will find eternal salvation. The only way to the Father is through the Son. I also have great respect for Jewish ✡️ tradition. My Savior is a Jew. "Woe to the spirit that relies on the flesh and woe to the flesh that relies on the spirit." Peace, good health and prosperity be upon all who read these words. In the name of Christ. Amen.
