When I saw this video was yo I immediately thought of the scene with Wilem Dafoe and all the lights. Such a lasting and beautiful shot I think about often. Sean Baker is more than just the guy who made a movie with an iPhone. He truly showed his expertise with filmmaking in "The Florida Project" and I'm excited to see what's next! Great Video!
I can’t express how much this movie impacted the way I see life! Before I watched it I was just an ungrateful millennial and after, I had a whole new view on my life and how I treat others! People need to watch this and put themselves in her life!!
What a coincidence! I also watched the movie today. The movie was joyful yet sad at the same time. Also I love how most of the shots are from a child's perspective & the camera is at a low angle just how you'd see the world as a child. The experience for me was unreal! Thanks a lot for making this video ❤️
I actually live a half hour or so away from the real Magic Castle motel, and my friend and i visited it the day after seeing this film. I can guarantee all of you that as a resident, Sean Baker did his homework and pulled no punches.
This movie seriously should have been nominated. Cinematography was amazing, the story was well thought out, the meaning was fully there. So well done and underrated.

Great video as always. You should do The Beauty Of The American Friend and Wings Of Desire, both directed by Wim Wenders and both with a stunning cinematography.
IM GLAD U MADE THIS. NETFLIX REALLY PUT ME ON WITH THIS MOVIE AND I CANT FUCKING STOP WATCHING THIS A24 MOVIE. BEAUTIFUL WORK. MOONIE CRYING AT THE END THO....I TEAR UP EVRYTIME. THR SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOU IF YOU DONT
The ending is a fantasy. It's what Moonee wants to happen. The film actually ends when Moonee is crying outside of Jancey's room. Moonee lived in the shadow of Disney World her whole life and but was too poor to ever actually go there, so in that moment she wishes she could run away with her best friend to Disney World and forget about everything else.
Hey could you do a video in honour of Ennio Morricone I know that this is something you do not normally do but I think it's a great idea because he is such a important composer and there is certainly a lot of beauty in his music much thanks Benjamin
this movie was absolutely incredible minus the ending. maybe im not getting something but it felt so disappointing and hokey how they just ran into disney world? the music and the timelapse video just felt so out of place as well. if someone can tell me what im missing please please do because i want to like this movie so bad. it was so good but the disappointment i felt from the end is the only thing that stuck with me.
I think Fear by Current Joys feels more nostalgia like, well it's just my opinion. But just mute the song for the video and play Fear by Current Joys, just sayin'
Beauty of this games: Battlefield 1 Death Stranding God of War 2018 Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain The Last Of Us Part I & II The Order: 1886 Uncharted 4 & Lost Legacy Witcher III
This film had nice cinematography but I found the character of the little girl annoying and the other characters underdeveloped. For a film exploring the "underbelly" of America I thought that "American Honey" was a better film. Defoe got a lot of praise for his performance here which is a mystery to me considering his towering performance in "the Lighthouse" which was basically not recognized.
U just compared florida project to amercian honey??? LMFAO I get ur comment and were ur view is cause I felt same way bout Defoe. But florida project was much more captivating and real than seeing shai lebouf FUCK some trash BITCH on her period...

This is the hardest film for me to come back to because of how achingly real it actually is.

Sean Baker has one of the most unique and recognizable visual styles of any director working today.
I actually live a half hour or so away from the real Magic Castle motel, and my friend and i visited it the day after seeing this film. I can guarantee all of you that as a resident, Sean Baker did his homework and pulled no punches.
This made me think as one of the most beautiful shots in the movie history. Love it.
This movie seriously should have been nominated. Cinematography was amazing, the story was well thought out, the meaning was fully there. So well done and underrated.
