If there’s anything I learned from this episode is that you have to “want” for any of your “needs” to be met. U-Malathisi oozes nothing but will power and strong conviction in all he’s been through, he wanted better himself regardless of the circumstances. What a gentleman! (Having listen to uNozi, uMama and now Malathisi... I see how strong mothers are out there stop at nothing to provide and care). Thank you for sharing Nozi and the team that helped in making the documentary. I love it!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
When ubhuti Malathisi says "if something slips out of my hand let it slips while I'm busy trying" I felt like he's saying that to me. Just when I felt like everything is falling apart and I wasn't even sure of what to do, I found strength in that statement sika bhuti Malathisi. Trust me, few months from now I'd be somewhere better and very much better than where I am right. Thank you for these words bhuti wam.

Touching story indeed. I have never known or met my biological father. I was raised by my step father whose surname I carry. The man loved me to pieces. He had so much respect and love for me such that, I never missed not having met my father. But I feel the pain for those who never met and known their fathers.
What a sad story but with a beautiful ending. If are reading this and you have a father who is doing right by you, you need to appreciate him and thank God for blessing you with that precious gift of a father. Im glad that despite everything you guys went through you rose above the situation and conquered. You didn't pity yourselves and caused your mom trouble just because your father was absent in your lives. Instead you guys fought and worked hard to be the great achievers that you are today. This was beautiful to watch and thanks to you and your family sis Nozi for sharing your story with us.
@Malathisi Qamngana, how can I not become a better person after hearing a story such as this. Yes sometimes I do need the "fluff" as a distraction, but this is real "food" for my soul/spirit. I'm watching this a year later, loved the story, loved the lessons learned from experiences. My husband had a similar experience with his father, whom after he was born married his mom's friend. My husband says that he would go to visit his dad and they would not open the gate for him at some point. His dad refused to pay his university registration saying what would he do with an HR qualification, if he was studying agriculture he would pay. I think the last straw was when his wife (stepmom) asked us to take his car because she thought dad should not be driving because of his age and health.. After taking the car, she told people that we took the car without permission and we are refusing to return it. If I was not there, I would have believed the story too, but I was there she bugged us to take the car in front of dad. We laughed it out at the time, but when our car broke down we thought why not. We took it, oh my I have never seen anything like that in my whole life. I've never seen someone who would lie and believe their lie like that. My husband was so hurt. I doubt that he ever recovered from that. He stopped trying

And he still did not give him the following year, I think he was hoping azibulale or abeligintsa azothi ayiva lentwana but God is God, he was supposed to be in the front row seat on that TV show yakabhuti and he would beam with pride and shame that he missed an opportunity to be part of his son's achiements. Like umamakhe said, zange amhlumphe tu ngoba stout and this guy probably expected him to ask him for bail money instead of registration money , sick stuff
Wow such a profound story,God is wonderful. I thank your mother raising such humble children and true it all God was with her. I am happy for your family. What kind of woman tells a husband that she is not fond of out of wedlock kids 🙄🙄and what kind of a father does that to his own son, that's so sad and disgusting to say the least.
Thank you Bhuti for sharing your powerful story. It is evident that your mom definitely raised warriors. There are so many elements in your journey that spoke to me deeply, but one thing I learnt distinctly is that everything happens for a reason. Many painful things happen to us that don't make sense at the time, but in the end we learn that God is indeed sherparding our ways. There is purpose in our pain, hold on and keep going. Continue to be that father you wish you had. May God continue to strengthen and bless you in all your endeavors 🙏

Yazi what you are explaining is exactly what's happening to my kids my daughter just turned 12 not even a happy birthday from her dad or his family and he saw her twice that day his family stays in the same street we stay in.. You know I'm 35 and I never ever saw my dad not even a photo of him and I made a promise to myself that my kids would know their father it's only now that I see that it's better not knowing your father in some cases coz my kids know their father and see him almost every day passing our house but they dnt know him and he is not even married just a single guy but he just doesn't care.. I asked my daughter my 12 year old daughter why ddnt she tell her dad it's her birthday that day she why should I have to tell her grown man I'm his only daughter how can he not remember my birthday it brought tears to my eyes but we keep it moving hopefully this whole situation makes her and doesn't brake her coz you sir turned out to be just fine you are soft spoken and very respectful to your younger sister

Ow maan a humble soul akandwebanga nje ngosisi wakhe💕 ubhuti ofana nomamakhe. Enkosi bhuti 💙💙
Wow, what a beautiful testimony. Blessings to you and your family Nozi
The father situation hit me hard, I have been there and all I can say for now is "God provides".
He provides hey! He provides. Many of us can attest to this😊
Wavela Fante well said and Amen 🙏
Wow such a profound story,God is wonderful. I thank your mother raising such humble children and true it all God was with her. I am happy for your family. What kind of woman tells a husband that she is not fond of out of wedlock kids 🙄🙄and what kind of a father does that to his own son, that's so sad and disgusting to say the least.
This heats home because, I know me n my brother can relate ...when it comes to our father...it's almost the same story.
Awesome content....its baffling how some of us go through the most....wishing u n ur family light and success and much love. Love from Jamaica 🇯🇲🙏🏾🥰
Real life stories, I relate so much to your relationship with your father
Wow so inspiring! Surely God shepherds our lives.
And the song in the background is sothing,I love it😍
Thank you Nozi for introducing us to your family. Anyone who experiences the warmth of family love has a rich life. God bless.
So happy that Bhuti went to further is studies.. his eloquence and choice of words just validate that this is a lawyer 🥂☺️.. cant wait for his graduation

Thank you very much for this Documentary sisi Nozi
Your story as a whole is really inspirational ❤️
Kuyaqaleleka. enkosi Nozi. Your brother has insipired me.
Congratulations on finishing school🎉 God makes a way even if it doesn’t seem like it
