I ran movies in high school AV club in the early 70s from our auditorium projection booth with an RCA Port-o-Arc 16mm projector. It was hand threaded and used a carbon arc lamp. It had a vacuum tube photocell like the one in this film and a tube amplifier. It put on a brilliant show. I loved this film, have watched it numerous times and am most excited to learn about the photoelectric effect that made it work!
Thank you!
We need more science videos
Brother how do you find these gems.
I have about 500 films that I picked up from schools tossing their film library out and some I pick up from ebay - glad you enjoy them. I have a lot to upload but have been busy lately :)
GREAT!
Thanks - not too many comments on this one. You must be a smart cookie.
16mm Educational Films 😆 that's funny. Quite the opposite. I never understood how sound turned into a visual strip on film and this guy explained it so incredibly well. Of course I'm a sucker for all chalk on blackboard diagrams. They speak my language. I learned SO much in this video. 16mm film has a special place in my heart. Thank you for sharing your treasure chest. 💚
@@zenarcher_awats You really wouldn't believe the story behind how these films got in my hands and how they ended up on UA-cam. Not sure where you are with God but if you would like to hear the story let me know. BTW you're welcome and so glad you appreciate them - glad I could share :)
I am DYING to hear the story! I really am. God and I are working things out so fire away. I'm excited!! ⭐️
