Tenor: 15:44 ME 17:38 MAY 19:40 LET ME LOSE MY MOLE IN LEE VINING 21:32 YES WE WISH OUR WAY WAS SO NICE 23:20 CEASE TO CHASE THINK TO TA COKE HA HA 25:32 LET ME LEARN FROM YOU
When I first started taking singing seriously I remember reading a lesson saying flick the consonant and sing the vowel. I can't tell you what a eye opener that was. The last one for Baritones "from you" very nice, demonstrates staying on the vowel so well.
Thanks so much Jeff! Another reason I love this format is that it allows me to practice in other ranges besides my usual mezzo soprano. I played around today and was able to sing from the tenor range all the way to soprano!
This is the first instruction I have ever found that gives specific tips on the mechanics of producing legato! Thanks. Also, interesting inventions on the lyrics!
Jeff, can you make a video regarding exercises to sing like Thundercat on the song Them Changes/Dragon Ball Durag and Childish Gambino on the song redbone (especially for Baritones)? I can reach the notes but they don't sound that clean and pretty. Anyway, thank you for releasing the best singing exercises on the internet!
Perhaps you are tensing up when you practise/sing? Tensing can result in pain. Try to keep your face neutral rather than push it around or hold it too strongly to reach the notes.
@@TezzyTVproductions You're most welcome. Hope it helps you. It is actually easy to tense up, so just make a mental note whenever you sing, to feel calm.
@@JeffRolka ill take that as a divine message. Ill make that part of my bucket (blues) trip to the States when things get better🙏🏽👍🏽 i have friends in California🌞
Oh my gosh can you please do a video on belting. I’m trying to sing Defying Gravity but sometimes my larynx says bye bye at the end of the song and at other times I’m successful. I want to sound like Indina Menzel 😁😁😁

Loved that new pattern. Changes it up from the ones you normally use for exercises
