    Break and Calyx always had the best drums in my opinion. They still sound like breaks but were snappy and clear.

    Interesting method to get the crunchy hats,I always use sends for that trick but using the LFO is another cool way of doing it, thanks

      @ I have no experience with FL or Bitwig, everyone adapts to their own DAW. If you are unsure, try out the demos for FL, Ableton, and Bitwig. See what you like.
