Small world here- in Tulsa and for some strange reason saw this locally in late 2019 around the same price . It’s just been sitting ! Like you the bottle and information struck me as being an outlier - not only small and unique but not something you might expect to find here. You mentioned stepping up to this - what cognac would you begin with ? I’m a price value person usually looking for where the lines cross - not afraid to pay.
Small world indeed! If price isn't an issue Pierre Ferrand Ambre is my go-to cognac. Priced at $50 it's a no-brainer and it's a cut above similar offerings from more well known brands. I like that it's well balanced so it's more approachable. What's your favorite cognac?
