11:30 demo had 160 health, without damage spread, 2 pills = 150 damage (Tide Turner resist) you actually did MORE damage because of it.

but the axtinguisher/degreaser combo was pretty op and overused, plus the nerf isn't that bad, you can still do mini-crit damage from the front and crits from the back
except the other class nerfs make it easier for pyros to not die

I kinda understand the reason the Tide Turner was nerfed, but I don't understand why they had to change the stats of the Claymore, instead they replaced it's unique and very useful feature with something that many other weapons already do, plus they changed the downside, which could be either a good thing or bad thing.

That sniper jumping down the pit is one of my favorite moments in any STAR_ video. Just the timing of it--how he waited until the exact second he was around the corner to jump off, combined with STAR_'s reaction kills me every single time. XD

I have found Servers who are basically just a giant conga party. VALVE servers. Every now and then comes a gibus-pyro and ruins everything.
Does anyone else wish to see demoman get something that makes something actually explode? I get that the demoknight is pretty popular, but the demoman has 2 different grenade launchers and 2 different sticky launchers, aside from default. Is anyone with me?
Demoknight is just easier to update and more appealing I guess. But I would love more exploding stuff indeed.
They'd have to come up with something pretty interesting to tear me away from my Loose Cannon and Scottish Resistance. I'm too addicted to Double Donking people into vast sticky traps. Maybe a bundle of dynamite to toss.

Martin Johnson I think most things are viable weapons when given the proper attributes, but in their raw forms I feel like those kinds of stickybombs are unnecessary (there's no reason to wait to detonate them unless you want the person to walk near their teammates and blow them all up, and with that being said it'd be really easy to grief with it by having a friend covered in bombs run at everyone) and bouncy bombs would just be spam hell.

Random_ Dude because any player with decent aim can stop a tide turnin demo right in their tracks, not hard to hear thm charging from behind either, so just a quick 180 and a shotgun shot or a rocket is enough to break their charge, therefore making it only good for retreating imo

When the god damn pyro update came around I couldn't breathe because of all the pyros running around.
The Tide Turner is absolutely ridiculous. There are way too many Demoknights right now, and the Turner just adds insta-turning to a charge, and instantly recharges it on a kill, making for lots of cheap kills that you can't avoid, and Demoknights can single handedly take down lots of guys if they use the Half-Zatoichi, gaining all their health back in addition to their typical charge.
To some, it may be different, and I repsect your opinion, but it's a troll move if you ask me.

I actually have to agree with Ian. I once was a Medic übering a Heavy, and then a fucking Demoman just spams stickies next to me. The blast knocked ME out of the map.

The problem with that is that demoknight was still effective. All the recent changes to demo turning was make it so people with bad computers could turn like everyone else. Also, name another class that is viable and based on the melee weapon. Your list starts and ends with spy.
One little question. When i use the Half-Zatoichi i never have the blood on it when i kill someone but other players like my friend can see it. What do i need to change in the settings so it gets shown?

I was on Turbine, went from the health pack on one side of the room to the stairs on the complete opposite and cut down a spy I saw go into cloak five seconds ago in a single swing.
The freedom of charging, so good.
I still kind of miss the increased durability of the Charge 'n Targe and the no afterburn, but the charge though.
Taking any other shield over the Tide Turner right now is like taking the default knife over the spycicle. You can make it work, but in most situations, it's better to have the weapon with the greater amount of benefits.

Well the Booties/Bootlegs are pretty much useless now. Demoknights will now have actual projectiles.
They were useless before.... Projectiles have always been the way of the demoknight.
People still use them for the extra health which is fucking stupid because you loose the ability of destroying sentries from afar. That's why I use the Eyelander/Nessie's Iron Five. Each head boosts my speed and health.
Except for people who don't have the tide turner
Well for medieval it's still usefull.
I still use the Booties for a sticky only demo just to get the extra health, it can make a difference at times.
I remember when the tide turner came out. This taught me to be a demoknight as strong as king raja, now it’s broken and I don’t need it anymore. Good times

John Hampson Yeah, one of the monster bread items you can get in the Bread Box. (limited time craft item using three hats, some come out Strange)
It's a big metal ring the Spy holds with a wiggling Bread monster held in the center. It snaps and roars as you hold it. Looks kinda cool when applied to a building though.

Honestly, I think the Tide Turner should be balanced in a way that also makes the booties Viable. Let's take a solid look; each shield has a significant buff;
Chargin' Targe - Afterburn Immunity
Splendid Screen - Shield Bash buff on collecting Heads.
Tide Turner - Ability to charge again on kill.
If they took the perfect turn control, and applied it to the Booties and the Bootlegger; that would massively change the Demoknight playstyle. As it would result in the following;
1. Without the booties, all Shields would go in straight lines.
2. In order to get full turn control, you'd have to go Melee Exclusive.
3. Melee Demos would be strong, but they would be only Melee. And there are lots of counters to this.
4. No more Loch n Load/Tide Turner/Eyelander combination for a broken advantage. Users of this could only charge straight, so they'd need skill to actually use this.
This would also likely make the other shields more commonly used; since they'd all be equal on the playing field.

Star, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the B.A.S.E. Jumper. Would you ever use it? Is it OP with the market gardener?
I don't think Star would ever use it except for a video maybe. It makes you slower and a more vulnerable target in the air so you're practically asking to get shot at. I personally believe that once you get the hang of Market Gardening, it's a lot faster and deadlier.

Well at least I can agree with Ster here on Congas are ruining the game...I don't mind setup ones but don't do it in game...I headshot people doing it and people complained.

They aren't doing anything productive, they aren't helping their team, nor are they against your's, so why shoot them? The way I see it, they're in a team of their own. There are the red rebels, the blu empire, and the civilians that get caught up in the battle.
Its as spy crabs and friendly heavies are. They will die down. It will become normal soon enough. You'll only occasionally see a random conga medic or some shit dancing about.
I was playing a pub, seen literally ENTIRE blue team and half my team congaing, no point capping, no anything.
So I go pyro, kill them all.
They votekick me and I got kicked from the server FOR PLAYING THE FUCKING GAME.
