I am really reluctant to spend the $750 odd for the NF and trying to work out if the GH 14x9 would suit me need. I have found 120 grams with the 11" coil this year so far. Its just so sensitive i can search quicker and confidently that im not going to miss anything. Ive also found sub gramers over 4" in depth and a 1.8 gramer at 12". It is noisy but i run my 7 noisy so im very use to it. I run my 6 with a SP01, runing cables and its amazing charity and i can make it as loud as i want.
That is the one I am waiting for.! Only because of its bigger size the NF Xceed 16x10 will be better for wide open areas, it won’t be out until July onward.
Are you still picking the nugget finder over the 11" ? Is it heavier or lighter? and .....Have you run across anyone with the coiltek 10x5 and what are your thoughts? I was leaning towards the 10x5 due to Lee's Gold video comparison showing better performance on very small pieces but this nugget finder looks impressive also. Hi Smokey, I am undecided still as I wait for you to give me an answer to these Questions. Does the coil go deeper than the Factory coil? Have heard it does not! 2nd question is do you have to go very low like the factory coil where you wear out the skid plate? To cancel out the EMI and wind noise emitting irregularities across the coil with the factory coil, not letting the coil raise off the ground ( which is very hard to do) eliminates lots of interfering signals but at $34 a skid plate lasting at the most a month can be daunting in the hip pocket. However, you can do things to the coil skid plate to make the skid last three times as long. May show a video of how to do that but the detector mobs will be so peed off. LOL. $700.00 a coil is a bit crazy as well, especially when it would only cost them $200 at the most with labour to make. Being sucked into the gold chasing, we just pay up, unfortunately. 🤨 A lot of people would not find that much gold in a year especially if they are working for a living and relying on going out with mates on a dig. I will wait on your reply to my Questions. Cheers
Yep, that's what it's all about Roy. Actually, learning where gold could be is the part I like also. I done a video last year about the wildlife and camping thing but I used my phone to do the videoing but this year I will use decent cameras to do a video about the bush and finding a bit of gold but that can get boring. 🤔
I hate to put this out there, but you can CLEARLY see you drop the nugget in place at 11:33 in the video. For not being “affiliated” with a brand, that’s pretty sketchy, man. Sorry.
If we were going to do that mate we would have found a heap more gold. I clearly just went to pick it up. To even think during editing I wouldn’t edit that out if that’s what we’d done.

Yeah NF still for me, light and smoother especially in wet ground. Coil tek looks ok too I see but haven’t tried. 👍👍

Hi Gary, my experience is NF coil is much quieter but I’m only speculating may reduce depth slightly on 11inch factory.
