Love the series!! Was thinking of learning animations in react native. These videos are helping a lot. Also, just wanted to mention, I'm here before the channel blows up.
Thanks for the kind words! If you have suggestions for the code parts, I'm open to feedback really. It makes more sense when there's a device on the right side I feel. I might finish this series this way but why not for the future ones? And I do these animations with final cut pro :)
The Blogpost for this lecture (on medium platform) has an error. You've written "transform: [{ translateX }]" instead of "transform: [{ translateY }]" there. Please correct it, as it'll be confusing for the beginner.
Big fan of your channel. Can you please make a video to explain for Reanimated 2 Newbie like me, should I aim at doing everything with Reanimated 2 instead of shopping around for solutions like this one? I have an impression that once you can handle Reanimated 2, you can throw native Animated into the bin. But I am not sure if Reanimated 2 can really do all these things yet.
Very interesting thoughts, here's how I see it: if you can do it smoothly with Animated, don't use Reanimated. Also, if you happen to understand how Animated works, Reanimated will be much simpler to start with (honestly). There's a lot of content on my channel on both, you should definitely try these "you can animated" videos I did. Some use Animated and others Reanimated so you can see both in action, without wasting too much time. Best of luck, I'm sure you'll make it :)
@@eveningkidi have new to reanimated 2 but i already love what it can offer. That had made me quite reluctant to start Animated API as it feels old school to me. Now as you suggest, i may try to use a mix and match approach in my application. Can i import Animated from reanimated libray? Is it the same thing?
@@chris405 We could talk a lot about this here but honestly Chris, just try it out on the weekends and I'm sure all of this will become second nature. Reanimated 2 is really a blessing but Animated works in some cases too. Get your hands on both and see what fits *you* best :)
This content is pure gold, I got a question how can I trigger an animation using Interpolate? I want to trigger a spring animation at 100 on y when scrolling, is that possible?
Hey, I wonder if it is possible to move the header style properties in a StyleSheet outside the component, as it's usually did in react native to be more clear to visualize. I tried but it is hard because we need transition variable of the component that is not visible outside the component, and we cant use a hook outside of a component. Do you have any idea how to resolve this ? Thank you for the video
You are covering some advance complicated concepts in a very simple manner. Thank you for doing so.❤🇮🇳
Thank you Ayush, you're more than welcome :)

Nice, you are awesome. Could you make a video about drag and sort and drag and drop ? thank you
thank you for this amazing list, but why not using Reanimated?
Really good video! I personally don't like that the code parts are in 4:3.
Btw. what do you use te create these animations?
