- I've been waiting all my life for this and it's finally here! Taco Bell in Melbourne (or at least one thats close to us and has a drive thru lol)

Hey Y'all didn't think this needed to be said but no we don't think Taco Bell is actually Mexican Food or is a accurate representation as to what people in Mexico would be eating lol... If we mention mexican food please don't take it too literally. We're literally just trying Taco Bell on a youtube video lol. We've actually done a video in the past of us eating from an actual mexican restaurant where we had some nice Chilaquiles, Tacos, Alambre etc. which can be found on the channel so we know this ISN'T mexican food dont worry. Didn't think I had to explain this but apparently you do :P
I also don't think I'm eating real italian food when I go to dominos or authentic southern american food when I go to KFC and get a zinger burger ;)
Even though it's been ages, I know if you want actual spicy sauce at Taco Bell you have to ask for the Diablo Sauce.
After watching the rest of the video, TB tacos in AMERICA only serve chicken, steak and beef protein options. The "mince" as I've seen Australians and New Zealanders call it is ground beef. TB serves what is called "Tex-Mex food. Basically Americanized Mexican food so cheese lettuce tomato are typical in tacos, tostadas and burritos. Street Mexican food have many other protein options like carnitas, barbacoa, asada, al pastor, camarones, lengua, tripa...some delicious options for the braver eaters. More often with Street Mexican Food corn tortillas are served and flour torts are saved for burritos, quesadillas. Dont forget to try enchiladas when possible!

Another lockdown 😭 at least this one's just for 5 days... Well I hope at least lol. So far the biggest inconvenience is taco bell is outside our 5kms so were doing alright. Hope you're doing well In the lockdown too 😚😚😚😚

First Taco Bell was in George Street Sydney across the road from Event Cinemas next to Hungry Jack's back in the early 2000s
We love taco bell SO MUCH!! Our local is the one in glenferrie. Also HOW GOOD IS THE DOUBLE DECKER TACO?!

Taco Bell is the ultimate stoner food in America 🤣🤣🤣 just rolling through the drive thru and getting some good cheap food.
Try the mexican pizza if it's offered there. I've never seen fries offered at my local Bell. Yes tacos have cheese! Usually crumbled beef, shredded lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese. A corn tortilla is used for a crispy taco and a flour one for a soft taco. And I've never known Bell to offer pork or my local one doesn't here in Texas.
We just got a taco bell near us. M6 kids have been asking to try it. Tonight's the night and I've come to UA-cam to see how big everything is. When we have tacos at home they can down about 6 each, and I have 4 kids plus 3 step kids. And then myself and my partner, we'd have to spend a small fortune there I think 😓😬
Taco bell was in Sydney years ago ,like 20 years ago . And was here in 1980 lol .
We don’t even got fries here in America besides the nacho ones that are seasonal
I haven’t been there yet but I do love Guzman Y Gomez! There’s also Salsa’s and Mad Mex but I found Guzman’s ingredients seemed a lot more fresh and tasty.
Mad mex I don't like that much and salsas is pretty good. Guzman is probably the best out of the 3 and pretty healthy 😁

Just got done watching your video! I enjoyed watching you guys try Taco Bell for the very first time! I'm from Columbia, Maryland USA. I have been enjoying Taco Bell for most of my life LOL. I was so relieved that you tried the taco sauces. Many times people for some reason shy away from trying the packets of sauce. They are meant to go on pretty much every entree. Here in the U.S. we have Mild, Hot, Fire, Salsa Verde, and Diablo. Hope you try more items next time you visit! Try one of the Chalupas or the Nachos Bel Grande. They're awesome. Visiting Australia has been on my bucket list for a long time, and I can't wait to come to your country and enjoy the different culture. Hope you guys keep making videos like this!
👏Love Taco Bell. My nearest is only 4 miles away from me(North Carolina, USA). It seems that the Taco Bells in Australia are mostly on the east coast. Fountain drinks, awesome! If you were dining inside you probably would have been able to get free refills. Your New Zealand Family last episode was also on Taco Bell. (2 hours away from their home) They were all drinking 'can Coke'. I guess they don't have fountain drinks there in New Zealand.
The menu for the most part is the same in Australia and New Zealand as to here in the States. Thats not the case in Japan and China. I have friends that will be traveling soon back to Australia (home, south Australia) from England. You may know them- Amy and Jarrad of Amy's Crypt. I meant to ask Amy of her experience at a Taco Bell there in England. I'm sure its exactly the same there as it is here.
Next time you guys go, go inside and get the full experience. And don't forget the Fire Sauce. The fries usually comes with Cheese Sauce and makes a world of difference. The Tacos you had were just regular tacos and yes it suppose to have shredded cheddar cheese on it. Taco Supremes has tomatoes and sour cream on it in addition. 🤣😎👍🍻

Thanks Giu! We got a good deal on a 2010 VW Jetta and plan to keep it in the family until it dies so when we come home from travelling we always have a car 😁😁🚗🚗
The food is amazing especially the Quesadilla, my mum's favourite. We went there last week & our 1st time to dine in & try their food. Fantastic! We're here in Melbourne. Enjoy guys!

@@DanNak TB in oz is pretty average unfortunately, prices compare to guzman but no where near as quality!
It's cheaper to go to an authentic Mexican place now days, I pay 8.99 for some asada fries its like 2 pounds of food loaded with everything.
You guys should try taco salad if they have it there
😁🌯🌯😁 I read online there will be one in Perth western Australia 😊 I'll try it out when it's up and I'm in Perth. Guzman y Gomez has beautiful salted caramel sauce for there churros, I'd love to put that in my burrito next time I buy one. And lastly SALSA'S is a Mexican has the best slow cooked brisket I've ever tasted 14hrs website says in a burrito it's mouth watering had it yrs ago can still taste it now. I know long comment but Mexican is my favourite 😁🌯
Haha don't worry Mexican is one of our favourites too 😁 we have to try the salsas again we used to have one near my old house, but I'm sure I can find another one in the city to try 😁

I used to sometimes eat mad mex but I don't find it that good. We do have zambrero around but no where near me

that crunchy taco was a Frankenstein creation on top of being smaller than in the states... The beef wasn't all the way to the end, the lettuce wasn't properly shredded and packed in and most importantly where was the un-meltable fake American cheese on top? Most Most importantly... not a single soul in America has ever eaten a taco bell taco without fire sauce by choice...
Edit: i completely forgot they normally sprinkle a few tomatoes on top as well
I don't think you intentionally meant to offend Mexicans by calling it "Dirty Mexican food". I'm 54 and while almost every ethnic group has been discriminated in America in some way; my mother remembers the term "dirty Mexican" from her youth years. Just remind yourself whenever you say something, would like it said in place with your name, ethnicity, etc.
I always found the "learn the language if you're gonna live here" thing strange because Native Americans AND Mexicans occupied ALL of this land long before any other cultures came to America. Thats why many city names are in Spanish and Native American languages. Anyhow, the fries taste better with the nachos cheese or loaded fries.
Tacos have to have cheese. I'm surprised by the flavorless fries. Ones in America have a lot of flavor.

I tried it for the first time yesterday. It was honestly the most dreadful slop i have ever tasted, as though it was made out of filth scooped out of the bottom of an old garbage can then wrapped up in a a soggy flannel . I am absolutely baffled that anyone would even consider this food. Absolute and utter dog shit.

Oh man this is making me sad, I wish we could export Mexican food and chains from Mexico so people in other countries wouldnt need to have taco bell as their first experience into Mexican food. They arent bad but the way is done in Mexico is so much better.
Don't worry Erick this we've had real Mexican food before this was just our first time trying taco bell the chain. To us it's two different food :) we know it's not authentic in anyway. Each has a time and place.

I just went at Dandenong at.taco bell I asked nacho supreme very desapointe and ate 6x beef taco meat taste chilli con carne on tin not recommended for American nachos mexican restaurant and 2 American chefs the taco is ten time better taco bell I give you 1 out 10 not impressed

Can't really be stopping every 2 seconds to mention hey this isn't actually mexican food would just destroy the flow and I think everyone knows that taco bell isn't really mexican food so didn't feel the need to overexplain in a casual eating video on youtube
