Thank you so much for posting this. I know its been year since you did, but today it popped up as I was scrolling and I decided to take a look. I'm so glad that I did. You see, I was cast as Ladybug a few years ago in a theater camp that I attended. It was my first time in a big production like this. I loved every minute of it, and was brought to tears as I reminisced the day of our performance. If you have an opportunity to do theater, please take it, it will change your life. ❤

Weird story:
I started this exact musical as Miss Spider. We had to postpone the production due to COVID. Then, right as we were about to start up again, the guy who played James quit. The directors were rushing to find someone to play James, and I was the first person they asked. Now, someone else plays Miss Spider, and I have 4 weeks to learn everything for James.

So I got James without even having to audition, and I was in elementary school in the middle school play. Sadly we never had the play because we didn’t have enough of the ensemble show up. It was sad.

this is amazing and so is the person who put the lyrics in the comments i got james for my play and i got sick with the flu and i had a side effect where i could not walk and then covid hit a few days after and i am going to be doing the play again and i hope i am still james so i have to practice
