You talking about your covid test thing reminds me of a similar situation I just had on a cruise I went on. We were *told* we needed to take a negative covid test before we got on the boat, and would take another one when we reached the boat. The cruise was Alaskan with a day in Canada so it was important for leaving the country that we tested negative, right? Wellll.... We took the test before and we were all negative. We reach the boat, and they don't ask to see our test. They don't test us as we reach the boat. No one mentions it the entire cruise and we go to Canada completely issue free. We also didn't need our passports to get off the boat in Canada, although we did need them to get on the boat initially and to leave Canada.

Omg that same zip line thing happened to me when I was like 8 but it was on dry land. I was to short to use my feet as a break to slow down at the end so I went full speed into the hard end stop and flew into the air and did a 270 before landing on my head. I couldn’t remember what day it was for about 8 hours
My friend tried a homemade zip line at a different friends house. I see him a week later and his foot is broken from it

Makes sense to preprint the letter that proves you're negative/positive and hand them out as results come in, though. That's just efficient. If it is true that those negative/positive letters were disconnected from a proper test / test response that's irresponsible though.

God I wish the they falsified my Covid test when I came back from Mexico, instead the guy buried the test swab to the knuckles in my nose, then ripped it out and made me wait like 20 mins in a tiny little 8’x8’ waiting room with 3 other people.

The only realy bad vacation i've had was at Universal Studios Singapore in 2010 on one of the worst Torrential down pour and some parts of the Johor region Flooded. The only day trip I ended short and gave up. We did not know at the time how bad it was getting but ending early was a smart move.

I did a similar cave thing to you almost ten years ago in South Africa but there weren’t activities it was just crawling around tight ass spaces with a tour guide. It was so claustrophobic but kinda sick icl
I think I went to a very simular cenote in cancun and my brother did the exact same thing, I dont think It was the same one because we had to go down a long ass stairset to get into the cenote, and the dock thing looked longer than the one in that video

fun fact: a lot of the cenotes on the Yucatan peninsula were formed after the impact of the Dinosaur killing asteroid (landed on the North side of the peninsula)
The shock of the impact destabilised chunks of the Earth, and if you plot the position of all the cenotes on the map of the Yucatan, they form a massive semicircle (the other half of the circle is in the sea)
Honestly you can imagine the hell they'd get if the testing place stopped people being able to go home, especially when their home is America, so I think they just wouldn't want the headache. I mean what are you gonna do? Complain that you brought covid into the US? No you'll just be thankful you could go home
