Thanks
Thank you so much Timberland!!!
Your dad is a proficient mechanic!
He can do just about anything! I’m very blessed to have him by my side all the time :)
looks like you have to be a full tech to own a deere. you're pop knows his stuff
Thanks for keeping it real, my mechanic always gave me the parts and told me to get it done and fixed. 😊😊 John T
We miss you so much 😂✌️⭐️
Thier is a plug on the fan drive you can remove and install a grease zero so you can grease the fan drive
Awesome video keep up with the great work.
Can almost smell that fresh dirt from here!! Parts break, that's just part of it but I agree.....1500-2000 hrs seems very low on that. But what do you do, replace it and keep going. We have helped neighbor farmers many times. It's what we do. Enjoyed the video, always brings back great memories of our farming days. Be safe
It great to help a friend out when you can. There’s no better feeling. It’s nice to know there are still good people in this world. Stay safe my friend
Howdy. I used to have a hunting lease is Coleman County. South of Coleman little community called Gouldbusk. Enjoy your videos. Great job young man. 👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻
Thank you for sharing!!!
Welcome back
I figured that out.nice these days to see the trading of help .
I watch other farming channel’s and 1 or 2 of them I remember they only had 1 season on the fan drive and they went bad. Quality goes in before the name goes on!😂
amazing video. thank you Hayden
Thats the down side to anything you do is breakdowns at least you didnt have to spend 2 grand to have the dealer do it you guys are smart doing your own work great job thanks for the ride
I hope all your spring and winter wheat is emerging well. Did you get any rain since planting?
Both our spring and winter wheat is up! The spring wheat hasn’t had a rain yet although the winter wheat has had several rains. I’ll try to do a follow up in the next video 👍🏼
I am following a farmer in upstate NY and has replaced several.......a real tough job...
Do you know if that was the wet style fan drive on the tractor? (The one that needs to be greased). They have come out with updated parts that are maintenance free basically.
They should have used a hydraulic fan. All that dust coming in on a mechanical unit spells a short life.
Saludos compa hanyden bendiciones 🍀🍀 buen video y tu familia compa ✌️✌️
Oi 👍👍👍👍👍
Might try to purchase clutch drive unpainted. Might save a lot!
I don’t think any one else makes this rub Goldberg horrible system
Are you going to test the new S7 series like you did with the X9?
I’m not sure haha
Any problems with fires down your way?
No, we are more central Texas. It’s a pretty sad deal though for all the families and farms that have been affected.
Hayden, I agree. Seems very ridiculous to have to pay $1500.00 for a part that you know will not last the life of the tractor. That is just assanine.
How is Cody?
Cody is back home with his family. He should be coming back in a month or so for harvest 2024.
Yep ...i agree they are a weak spot
Big Bud wouldn’t do that
The fields aren’t big enough for a big bud here 😅
When you grease it properly, you can get 5000 hrs on it , I did
The new style is the non grease-able ones… they suck just as bad as the grease-able ones. They are supposed to be “low maintenance” as they say….
noooooooooooo way you get 5000 hours on them combines max 600 hours sprayers worse and the new ones are honestly even worse.
See farm fixing and fabrication he has a repair history on this horrible and expensive fan drive system.
That part was really only 700.00 but once they put the green paint on the charge the extra 1000.00. John deere parts are really cheap Chinese junk. I have not been impressed with them very over priced.
that fan drive is a money pit for deere to keep sucking money out of you farmers wish i could come up with a delete for that damned thing i think it would be pretty easy myself
