With AI and everything else, it is not possible for a player to have an attitude outside the human standard and not be banned, the biggest mistake is wanting to ban hacks when they should be taxed on their equipment and peripherals, identity documents and of course sent to servers where they will have fake accounts and banned! They should be more concerned about the legitimate players in society and empower them with the power to suspend clearly suspicious players. I have a long experience in FPS and I guarantee that for me it is clear when there is even a slight bit of cheating, but it is clear that Valve has no desire to resolve this. It has become a cryptocurrency and no longer a game.
the solution against obvious cheaters is so easy. find some guys with high elo and experience who accept to work for volvo , let them spec games where players receive lot of reports. insta ban . i would do it for free. but volvo doesn't want to fight cheaters , they just don't care. it's obvious.
valve bloats the game everyday with no pause, literally every single day with useless updates and instead of bringing back CSGO they rather go full on RTX on the water graphics and mess the game up even more and if youre lucky to make the game run at 30 fps, you get headshotted from across the map instantly.
from business perspective I cant decide if it is good that he sold his company to valve instead of keeping it. He could be a billionaire if he was still the boss but im not sure about if cs would become this popular without the efforts of valve.
when he talks about being top 3, assumedly in a server, it kind of made me sad how "playing counterstrike" means an entirely different thing now from what it did originally and even in CSS. no more community servers that matter. todays generation has no idea what "playing counterstrike" even means... good luck discovering bhop\surf\zombies p you name it organically
6:40 lol cs probably has the worst anti cheat compared to other AAA FPS games, even worse than COD I'd say. Purely because valve doesnt want invasive kernal level anti cheat, their philosophy is that anti cheat shouldnt be invasive, which is why they're focusing on AI vacnet, but its garbage as we all know

i love his optimism lol
The Legend.
He invented CS but cheaters took it over, now he’s just a spectator.
24:42 I think the game he is talking about is called Rogue point, could be wrong.
Loved the interview with Stewie2k
It's a shame Pearl Abyss's shooter never released.
valve bloats the game everyday with no pause, literally every single day with useless updates and instead of bringing back CSGO they rather go full on RTX on the water graphics and mess the game up even more and if youre lucky to make the game run at 30 fps, you get headshotted from across the map instantly.
What a legend!
Love him
from business perspective I cant decide if it is good that he sold his company to valve instead of keeping it. He could be a billionaire if he was still the boss but im not sure about if cs would become this popular without the efforts of valve.
this guy looks like the smart guy that gets kidnapped in action movies
when he talks about being top 3, assumedly in a server, it kind of made me sad how "playing counterstrike" means an entirely different thing now from what it did originally and even in CSS. no more community servers that matter. todays generation has no idea what "playing counterstrike" even means... good luck discovering bhop\surf\zombies
p you name it organically
6:40 lol cs probably has the worst anti cheat compared to other AAA FPS games, even worse than COD I'd say. Purely because valve doesnt want invasive kernal level anti cheat, their philosophy is that anti cheat shouldnt be invasive, which is why they're focusing on AI vacnet, but its garbage as we all know
valve sucked the fun out of the game for no good reason though.
It was then sold to Valve, causing the game to lose its soul: the free community content.
