      I used to like putting eye pencil on my lower lash line, but it would run down after only a little time and I eventually gave up. Does anyone have a tip on what to do in that case if you can't run to a mirror every ten minutes?

    • @JWard5773
      @JWard5773 9 років тому +1

      +Ellie K Have you tried using a waterproof pencil liner? I know that sounds like an obvious thing to suggest, but there are some really good ones around that don't budge after you've applied them...I like the Urban Decay 24hr liners...they go on creamy & smooth, you around 30 seconds to smudge them but they don't move after they've set.

    • @AlliasEllie
      @AlliasEllie 9 років тому

      I think the first one that I tried was waterproof, but it didn't last a whole day either. Maybe I should try another brand. Thanks for the answer, however obvious it seemed :)

    • @karishmasingh5342
      @karishmasingh5342 9 років тому +1

      +Ellie K here in India we get smudge proof/water proof Kajal pencils / eye pencils in every shop for 200-250 rupees. That's just 3-5$. Perhaps you have oily lids? Maybe that's why the waterproof one didn't stay on for long? Try a smudge proof one instead of a waterproof one maybe? I've seen some people on YT using black eyeshadow on top of the eye pencil to increase wear time. You could try that trick too :)

    • @AlliasEllie
      @AlliasEllie 9 років тому +2

    When I'm in a hurry I can't be bothered to use a brush or blender. The quickest way to apply foundation is with your fingers so I just splash the foundation allover and then blend it with my fingers without a mirror and 60 seconds later - voila, all is good and ready and looking flawless.

    Lisa, would you PLEASE make a Video for undereye concealers. I have big dark circels and nothing i tried (and i tried a lot and lot) would really give me a realy healthy look. It gets grey or creasy or it is dark at all after powdering... i think a lot of women especially with skin over 30 or 35 years want to know, how to use which undereyeconcealer to get good healthy cover BUT not more wrinkeled and dry. The clinique airbrush for me is really not enough. Thank you so much. You are sooo beautiful!

      +Nina Melchior I know that I am not Lisa but try the new Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. It is hydrating yet almost full coverage. Also, try using a salmon corrector. Bobbi Brown makes great correctors.
      I hope I helped.

    • @LilOtakuAngy
      @LilOtakuAngy 9 років тому +1

      +Nina Melchior Correctors have really helped me- I like the bobbi brown one as its creamy so not drying and doesnt crease too bad, plus bobbi's come in lots of different shades not just 1 salmon colour so more likely to find a tone perfect for you depending on the colour of your under eye circles, i use a pinky/purply shade

    • @dgirllamius____x
      @dgirllamius____x 9 років тому +1

      I have the same problem. My dark circles will not go despite using every corrector under the sun (even the bobbi brown corrector doesn't cut it) so I tried a more yellow based corrector. I got the one from NYX and sadly this didn't work as well as I expected BUT better than anything else I've ever tried. I thought to myself ... "What if I try a more vibrant yellow?" So I get my bh cosmetics 120 colour eyeshadow out and put the most vibrant yellow on my dark areas and blend. I then applied maybellines age rewind concealer in light and I kid you not, this worked. That grey ashy tone was gone. Try it, you got nothing to lose

    It's so interesting to see which step of a full make up face a woman can sacrifice or not..for me, concealer is the essential but I can easily sacrifice the whole eye/mascara part because I have long lashes...but I have skin issues so, if I have no time, I just try to make my base as flawless ad I can, so I can't just skip the concealer part :-) I just conceal my spots, blush and natural lipstick or lip balm (usually the dior lip glow or the addict lipstick are my go to). Thank you so much Lisa! XO

    Hi. I'm not the one to comment or subscribe often. Your channel is only the second one for me to subscribe but I could not hold it back anymore. You are an amazing woman in my opinion. You upped my make up game so much. The knowledge you share is so profound and precious someone else would charge thousands for it. You gave me courage and knowledge to go on my first foundation hunt with confidence to buy the right product. Thank you so much for your time, insight, honesty, information and eloquence. Lots of love from Croatia.

    Everything seems so simple when you explain it and the result is always beautiful. I have never found better makeup videos, you teach us to highlight our true beauty without distorting the features of our face as we see a lot on social networks.

    Beautiful! Sadly I could never achieve this in 5 minutes - my eyebrows take longer than that as they are the victim of teenage over plucking in the 90s and have be never recovered! They are thin, shapeless, uneven and have bald patches so need a lot of attention!

    I wouldn't have thought that it's possible to look so put together in just 5 minutes.

    Adhd brain: where’s my cream? I’ve lost it! I knew it! Why? Ok, i’ll take the new one i left in the purse. (5 minute later). Ok…now… foundation… i can use…mmm… maybe this one? Not today! Today i don’t like its smell… ok i can use a concealer… oh i found it immediatly, i’m very lucky today! Ok now… how can i do my eyes? Mmm purple? Maybe cinnamon? Where..? Where is my new palette?
