This engine is really beautiful, I am waiting for mine to arrive! But I noticed that it heats up a lot, but this one works well! I have a 16 MB that I will publish soon, this barely works, but after 3 weeks of dismantling the engine and making corrections, the engine reached 10k rpm.
@@Farmtractor My engine has just arrived, I will only have time to test it tomorrow. @@Farmtractor As soon as I have a video, I send you a link, I’m analyzing it, it’s very beautiful. I disassembled the side where the accelerator is, there are 6 gears, just like a real engine, it is lubricated with grease, and when I removed the cover, it had a high temperature glue for sealing in gray, I believe that when the engine heat up, the grease will melt and there will be grease leaks, but not because of the manufacturer, I shouldn't have removed the cover, but I will make a video showing how it is inside and what should not be done. The accelerator is perfect, when you accelerate, the needle moves along, like a real carburetor, this is not the case with the MB 16 model.

this is a really good little project. a little idea. you can see the engine cooling water either boiling up or frothing up over the square hole causing an unsightly mess, could you make or 3D print a lid or sealed water jacket for the engine with an inlet and outlet and then pass some of the cold water thats getting pumped through that water jacket? keep up the good work sir.

That's a really awesome motor! And absolutely amazing craftsmanship as always. Thank you for always sharing your projects they are an inspiration to me. Many blessings to you 🙏
Johnny all I can say about you bruh is that you're a genius without any PhD or Dctorates in any type of mechanical engineering!! You're a born genius!! 👌👌👌
Absolutely beautiful but Pump Impeller Size could be doubled to get bigger flow at lower RPM . I am certain that little motor has sufficient power to handle much bigger flow of water.
This engine sounds good and even better without the silencer, also the cat is happy as well so it was a great video and looking forward to the next project.
straight fins are more efficient than curved. It doesn't compress water on the edge, it spill it out using centrifugal force, so you can try straight fins perpendicular to the edge and coming from the center another tip: if you presurize the water cooling hole, you can make water not boil for longer
The impeller was very pretty. Nice job on the pump. A little silicone on the housing and you can get that shaft leaking I promise! 😉 really cool build. Your craftsmanship is very good.
That was an example of running (to your right side) all the way around the world to get two steps to your left from your original position on the planet. There are much cheaper, easier, and more efficient ways to accomplish pumping water but you chose to do it the hard way. PS: I know it's just to sell stuff online and get kickbacks so I get it.
Of course the cat came to drink from that bucket XD So you'd need to make some modifications, like the screws sealing and a funnel or something to prevent cooling water from jumping out of the engine :D
When I saw your cat drink from the bucket the only thought I could come up with was TOOL TIME! A man's gas power cat fountain LOL! That's a awesome little engine.
Great job on the water pump! I clicked the engine link and fell off my chair when I saw the price. I could by a full size V8 from the wreckers for that much!
I saw the thumbnail at a glance and thought it had a turbo. I’ve seen people put blowers on these scale engines but never a turbo. I would like to see a tiny turbo some day
Ever since the first time I saw the Pocket NC 5-axis desktop milling machine I have wanted a miniature Chevy 5.7L/350 smallblock identical to the one made by the two guys doing the crowdfunding at the start of their project. I've been hooked on CNC shop tool videos ever since!
Love that they based the design on the Chinese horizontal Diesel engines. It even kind of sounds like it. I have the 3 hp diesel and immediately recognized this design
This setup needs gearing between engine and pump, engine sounds like pump works at less than10% capability. Sure you could make a decent jet wash with this setup at accurate gearing.
I think the impeller needs to be a larger diameter but flatter wings, so it has more centrifugal force without producing too much drag on the engine. I have an old 4hp water pump (48000 L/h @ 2bar), its impeller is approximately 15cm in diameter but just 1,5cm high. So the ratio between diameter and height is 1:10 while your impeller looks more like 1:4
If there is a lake or pond near you I'd like to see one of these engines in a boat and I have no doubt the fun you'll have making different propellers!
This is pretty cool. Now you should make a transmission so that you don't have to rev the engine up so high. I swear I wish I had access to the Machining equipment cuz I'd be making so many cool Little Engines like this
Thank you for measuring the flow rate. I really enjoy your to-the-point video format. I wonder what sort of head you are able to get with that setup. I bet it is decent.
I like the idea of the pocket NC.. the only thing that has me a little worried is the sound it makes even while taking what looks like realy light passes in alu. It sounds like alot of chattering going on. Is there something to what i am hearing or are my ears playing a trick on me?
Doesn't this engine have a wet sump where you actually have to put oil into the crack case? Kinda looks like it, 2stroke oil is only going through the fuel into the combination chamber, unless it goes into the crank case like that. Idk
Ok.. some people just amaze the shit out of me! Did you make that engine!!?? That is so insane! I have one of those changfa diesels. I never thought I'd see someone make a mini replica of one! That's so insane!! Really neat setup! 😄
