You’re not the only one. I’m down to half a 3 ounce of a 2020 EDP, and a sealed 1 ounce of the EDP. Tons of lotion still…. Slightly less than an 3 ounce on my last EDT bottle. New version is growing on me. I mix it with a dash of good girl in a decanter. I shake and wait a week. Gives a creamy tropical like vibe back to crystal noir. The mix should be 80% of C. Noir EDP, 20% GOOD GIRL.
This was the video I so desperately needed as I couldn’t work out why my newest bottle of crystal noir EDP (bought last year) didn’t smell the same. It’s actually quite offensive & I totally get the “bug spray” vibe. Honestly, it’s peed me right off. Such a bug bearer when they do this. And always to the good ones it seems aswel. I had the same problem with Armani Code. They ruined that one too ☺️

I have the EDP, no idea what year it is as I bought it off Mercari. I also got a travel spray from a subscription and I swear it smells different. I like the smell of the travel spray way more than my big bottle of EDP. I'm guessing they sent me the EDT, but who knows maybe it's the reformulated EDP. I'd email the perfume subscription service, but I know they won't know what they sent.
I badly trying to find old Formulated EDP 😢😢😢. I have bought in gold and black boxes EDT and they don't stay, nothing like any description, just waste of money. I guess made by 2019 year impossible to find nowdays 😢

Take into account the war in ukraine and supply issues for certain ingredients. Sometimes a reformulation snaps back to something else a year or two later. The EDP was a masterpiece… ughh
Ard Al Zaafaran Ameerat Al Ehsaas is said to be a dupe for the original edp! Can someone try it and let me know? I never got to smell the original, and dont like the new one.

I have a question. I have found a tester bottle that has 77% alcohol & has Linalool as the last ingredient but butylphenyl methylpropion is the 4. Alcohol being the 1st, Parfum being the 2nd, aqua being the 3rd then that funny looking double worded ingredient spelt above as 4th…. Do you think it would be the newer formulation that I detest or the previous formulation they so stupidly changed? Thank you so much in advance 😊

Try Mercari. That's where I found mine..edt arrived yesterday- WAAAY better than the new one.. edp is in the mail :) Ask to see a pic of the bottom of the bottle and you can look for that 77% alcohol. Hope that helps!
@@ms_firefly Thanks Irene! Yep, I went to Mercari and ordered a bottle of both the edp and edt. I asked for a batch code on one and I saw the back of the box on the other. Fingers crossed! What us perfume lovers go through 😆 😊

I love when you spray and it hits you 😂 I have an EDT bottle from 2014 and I was planning to get an edp and now I’m dreading the reform nightmare…I have so many memories from this era 🥲 the biggest tragedy is having smelled the original formulations..it happened to me with Alien, and everything is much too expensive to get good old formulas as you mentioned
Hey Kris! Know you from fragrantica - can you share where did u get those notes for edt???? On fragrantica the notes are identical for both edt and edt except for coconut!! Which obvs edp has and edt not, why are notes for edt not like what you read???

Today I found the EDT from 2020. 77% alcohol. I'm so happy because I wore it for years and always got compliments.

I think I found a dupe for the EDP. The new Jimmy Choo Rose Passion smells almost the same to me. Check it and I wonder what you think about it ❤

They just released the EDP back to the United States in 2023. It’s back on Macy’s and Nordstrom as a “new” fragrance.

Everyone's skin is different but I'd say an hour or two less then the original. Original lasted 6-7 hours for me, new one 2-3.

Ask each seller about the alcohol content. If it isn’t 77%, it’s the new formula. Both the originals are 77.
New formula for EDT is 78%, new EDP 67%.
