See that's the thing! He's clearly a talented producer. You can't make something this God awful this catchy. He just chooses to use his powers for evil and that just makes it funnier 😂
It was really hard to hear but in beat 15 at 10:58 especially I think they sampled the noise that plays when you select something at the self checkout at walmart. Like, when the computer says "insert card or select payment type" and you tap on the screen, the water droplet sound that plays. Absolutely unreal.
In the last episode, Brown Man was complaining during Beat 9 about the overusage of the "aH" sample in both it and the past eight beats. Beat 10 then doesn't use the "aH" sample at all, tricking your brain into thinking "oh good, DistantCry has finally moved on from using that dumb sample". Then, in Beat 11, it is the MAIN SAMPLE, effectively keeping the tempo. Genius.
I actually recognize the DJ sample in beat 14! It used to be a part of my friends old keyboard where you can switch to sound effects and that sample would play when you switch to the sound effect mode lol
My old high school band director used to have the same keyboard in the band room and any time there was the SLIGHTEST break we’d be all over the keyboard spamming “DJ! DJ! DJ!”
Yknow. Distantcry genuinely shows the skill in his tracks to do phenomenal production work, like this guy could probably get an actual job doing it. I wanna see that success. I wanna see someone go from clone hero shitposting to actually producing for money.
imma be honest Beats 10-15 might be one of the greatest creations on the worst beats ever created mostly because of how they the type of strange that hits different and because of how dead my music taste is
I actually like these "worst beats", they are much too structured tbh. The only bad part are the sounds, but I like weird chaotic music like Machine Girl so it doesn't bother me lol
At 2:33 when beat 11 starts. Just that ENTIRE session. Can we all give the man RESPECT for HARDLY strumming!? That is how you KNOW he is a LEGENDARY PRO at Guitar Hero. I counted 16-17 TIMES that ENTITE SESSION. 😮
Correction: that was Minish Cap Fairy Fountain, which is A Link to the Past Fairy Fountain but with some faint white noise in the back and very slightly different instruments. Some of the actual notes also differ from A Link to the Past. You can kinda hear the white noise, especially in the beginning before the beat kicks in, so even if you can't identify the instrument difference you can at least hear it's not ALTTP. Don't forget about my man Minish Cap, y'all. He don't deserve to be disrespected like that.
The first one’s start was decent, then It just shits itself. 11 sounds like something I made when I discovered you could import midi files in fl studio. 14 sounds like that Yamaha keyboard in most schools.
This is the sound of ADHD: Beat 10 - Man got a feature from a dolphin Beat 11 - A health Beat 12 - Djent 2022 ft. Unwanted social commentary Beat 13 - A $17 midi keyboard going super saiyan Beat 14 - The natural sequel to Donda (DJ) Beat 15 - Caribbean nuke type beat
i need a full version of the beginning of Beat 10. also, i recognize it from Baku Series, so now my mind can't unhear Broomstick saying "tf????" after the dolphin noise lmaooo
7:40 - 7:46 ngl that sounded ok, (mostly because it's a Sonic song slowed down) also if any of these beats samples crazy bus ost I'm going to be very upset

The thing that stops these beats from being TOTAL trash is the fact that they have rhythm
Arguably it doesn’t have that. The piano in Beat 14… I want to rip out my eardrums so even my bones can’t vibe
@@VVheeli You clearly just don't have the musical sophistication to understand polyrhythms.
