Great video! My friends and I are attempting to actually try and get better with pinball than just casual playing. The Papa videos on flipper skills have been very helpful and we recently saw the Pinball 101 by the Elwin dudes and it was also great. One thing that us newbies keep having problems finding is how to save the ball, especially at the flippers. It's definitely touched on in the DVD, but none of the guys that play here that are good can really explain it. Just slap it, hit it, kick it, etc. Shake it like a baby. I wish you guys could put together a long video on ball saving skills. The science of kicking and spitting is new to us and we have no idea when to bump/nudge/scream and at what angle or strength. However, please keep making these great videos! I have never had any reason to go to Pittsburgh before, but it is now on my to do list!
this stars is setup differently than mine, the flashing changing light on the backbox and the dbl and triple counts on the bonus instead of one at a time. Updated Code maybe? Plus my kirk post is a slight bit off center at the bottom, i can't do a post pass!

I own Stern Stars & it is every bit as challenging as this professional player says it is. Brutal game that keeps you coming back for more.

i had this pinball when i was a kid in the early 80s
I played one that would count down 2x for double bonus and 3x for triple bonus instead of 2 or 3 times on each one.

Great pin that is a dog to play unless it is restored and tweaked out. This game plays pretty good but is begging for the chimes to be rebuilt.
