Hip-pop. Postapocaloops. Shine on you crazy diamonds. Just when I think you might release a new guitar, you release an ultra expressive orchestral instrument. When I expect another orchestral instrument, you give us velocity-sensitive modern pop drum loops. Always exciting to see what happens each week at Soundpaint! And only US$10? WHAT?
big up Troels for recognizing sly and robbie...and trouble funk?...you a way more diverse cat than I would have expected ;-)...now I know I can trust your ear and trust Soundpaint!
OMG! Don't get me started! I love Grace Jones, but what made Slave to the Rhythm such an amazing track is both her, Trouble Funk and Trevor Horn. I grew up on Sly and Robbie!
By the bare description of this library, I would think that it definitely isn't for me. But listening to this, I can see so many ways of making use of these sounds to quickly get dark and dirty percussion, or strange electronic percussion. All the more so by layering and morphing with other libraries. This is another great library. The velocity layers and round robins really set it apart and make it distinctive and versatile.
Good point. It is first and foremost a tool for Top 40 production, but you are right that it can easily be bent into other existences. The power of SP! Where do we begin ... Where do we end ...
I am just loving SoundPaint by the way. Thank you!

Awwww Thanks Dave! These are not loops though! These are fully playable kits - we just using the arp to create ... postapoca... loops!
@@Soundpaintmusic sorry, that's what I meant! 😆
Troels, with these sounds I really love the dryer clean sound more than with lots of reverb. Very nice video as always.
Thank you very much!
Let’s go! :)
SOLD! Awesome.
So so Massive Attack... ❤🔥
True - a guilty pleasure of mine (Cheers, Troels)
