I stopped watching this guy ages ago but I looked back at his videos and his one blocks skyblock is actually the series that got me subbed to him in the first place. It was interesting and I liked his editing style. I remember watching him go from the thousands to a million in like a month.
I never knew he felt that way, I was never picky about his content. I just wanted to see him enjoy what he was doing because it's what makes the content fun!
It's sad to see how much he is NOT enjoying his time playing the game (understandable given how long he has played it for); takes the enjoyment out of at least some viewers (like me).

14:15 here is a way to get emeralds in this map - use witches' weakness to cure zombie villagers to trade and get emeralds
I knew there was a way to get them, thought it was by the outer island update, if you think sky block is impossible it at least gives a chance to do it.
Also cure 2, breed them, make trading stations and you're good

watching Scicraft play Skyblock in 1.14 (albeit with a few modifications to the wandering trader to get certain items) is pretty cool for seeing the extent of what you can do in Skyblock
its been 3 years huh it felt so short.. Since your first hardcore episode started I was excited to watch everyday, when I open youtube I always go to your channel to check if you have uploaded or not.
I remember I found this channel back when wadzee was doing the original skyblock so its realy awsome to see him playing skyblock again! And im super excited to see what else he revists

Fun fact: It didn't matter that your jockey chicken despawned, chickens spawned from a zombie jockey can't lay eggs! The reason is that the baby zombies could pick up the eggs and never despawn!
you can still breed them normally with seeds if you get two of them.
And to stop them despawning put them in boats

@@kevinpcrispin I agree that youtubers have variety of audience but tbh, I don't think more people will be enjoying his hardcore series than the number of people who will be enjoying his skyblock or any other random challenges, his hardcore series actually became boring and although he brought some energy back with restarting from zero on the same world, it still is something repetitive that most of us see most of the youtubers doing, it's just basic minecraft at the end with him doing some sort of task in each episode. I personally think he should leave his world for some time, and start doing challenges, most probably manhunt series or minecraft but series, since it's fun for the people and it has a lot of audience, as well as it's also fun for the content creator himself since every new video, there are new turns, unexpected things happen, and you don't progress as you continue in episodes, you start from the beginning, with only goal to defeat the dragon.

Learned this from skip the tutorial: if you make a suspicious stew, the flower you put in it changes the effect so you can make one with dandelions from your grass patch & farm the shrooms from the nether to get saturation effect for 6 hunger bars!

Whenever I get bored of MC I just try out new modpacks. Been playing Cave Factory a lot here recently. But thanks to modpacks I now can't bear playing vanilla MC lol. Mods have spoiled me.

This brings back memories, I was never good at regular survival on my phone, so I'd always play skyblock, I found (and still find) it really peaceful. Thank you for the nostalgia, WadZee.
Im so happy to see this video. Ive been playing skyblock on twitch for months and was upset with the lack of content on youtube. without any tutorials, I managed to get villagers on my island (died twice doing so) and used the emeralds to get new trees from the wandering trader. I learned how to obtain more dirt, made a magma farm of my own design and made a basalt generator. Cant wait to see more of this!

my favorite part about skyblock is how the addition of a single block can change entirely how you play. For example, if you add a moss block, you can smelt cobble to get smooth stone and bonemeal it next to it to get more moss an azela bushes. If you bonemeal azela bushes u get the tree, but under the blocks is rooted dirt, which can be used as regular dirt. I just find that amazing.

I am so surprised with how much you've done developing the Skyblock world which was just a dumb floating island.
Well deserved with the likes and subscribes 👏 I like how you create this challenging content for Minecraft players.
It makes me interested in this kind of challenge.
~14:00... but you can get emeralds... you'd need
- fish for "junk" (obtaining the bottle)
- make a witch for witch farm (you need redstone)
- make a mob farm and/or hunt spiders (you need eye)
- make a shrooms farm (you need mushroom)
- make a sugar cane farm (you need sugar cane)
- make zombified piglin (you need gold)
- you need luck and find zombie villager and trap him
- find place where fortress was in nether, and create platform to spawn blaze
So... to sum all of this
- you need to make fermented spider eye from sugar/mushroom/eye
- make weakness potion and make it throwable
- make gold apple
- cure zombie villager
- repeat one more time process
tadam, you have two villagers which you can bread an make yourselve a trading hall

The key is the witch, they sometimes yeet weakness potions... which let you cure things.
Gold from smelted armor/weapons, a drowned farm, or z-piglin drops unlocks gold apples.
Naturally spawned z-villagers can be cired for a breeding pair, and fishing can get you nametags iirc to help with despawning problems.
That gold can ALSO be traded to regular piglins for moar dirt (gravel ->craft ->coarse dirt -> till it w/hoe -> regular dirt).
1.14 and 1.16 really redefined the limits of vanilla skyblock.

I was more referring to the zombies/witches so they didn't despawn when you walk away from them.
But yes, you can also name villagers, if you can get an anvil.... that's a lot of iron for skyblock. Easiest method now is probably some kind of piglin spawner + a gold farm so you can get iron nuggets from them by the dozen.
@@willb5278 That's a really expensive ways to prevent despawning. Just put them on a boat.
