Not sure if you're aware. In addition to Slipknot and a solo career Corey Taylor is also the lead singer for another well known band Stone Sour. A lot of people consider Stone Sour the "lighter" version of Slipknot.

I miss Joey and the way he always played too fast. Especially when I saw him drumming for Korn. That was the fastest Korn I ever heard. And it was glorious.

Masks are custom made for them and they do not trade. Same mask design until the next album. They normally update their masks each album bc they start to stink really bad from touring. I'm glad somebody finally noticed when Jay stands up while drumming. I really enjoy those moments in this video. Him standing up, grabbing his mask, giving the finger etc. all while drumming. I get the same feeling at the beginning of the Solway Firth video when he's just writhing about while he waits to come in with the drums. He brings a lot of character to the role. Just a perfect fit for Slipknot.
If you like Slipknot, I suggest Nero Forte, Solway Firth, or Not Long For This World. All from the album We Are Not Your Kind, the same as Unsainted. If you did do Not Long For This World know that at the end of the song there is a section of electronic sounds that usually throw people off a bit, but it's just song-to-song transitions. They did it on a few tracks. So when you listen to the album start to finish the songs lead into each other. For instance, the end of Not Long For This World transitions seamlessly to the start of Solway Firth.
All Out Life by Slipknot is also pretty awesome. It's the single that kind of announced their new album.

Bro you need to go to a slipknot concert. I know you may feel like you will not fit in but you will realize there are all walks of life there all to just enjoy music. Which brings people together. They are probably the best bands that I have seen live as far as performance and Corey is always keeping the crowd pumped up .

I have been a huge Slipknot fan since MFKR in a interview i remember they where asked why they wear the mask if it was to hide there identities so forth and there answer was the best "No we whear the mask so the maggots could know exactly who they where. We make our mask to show the crowed our real self's how we feel inside." or along those lines and imo that's metal as fuck.

Those drums are sick - double bass drumming on the chorus is class 👌
They change their masks for every new album they release. If you watch the Psychosocial video, or the Devil In I video, they are “killing” their previous albums masks. Psychosocial, the masks are whats burning on the posts, The Devil In I, they are basically killing their old selves and “birthing” their new selves. Thats one is especially dark because of the death of a band member as well, so its a bit crazy but awesome. ANYWAY, they do not change masks with each other, they have a mask that is their own look till the next album is released. Hope this helps.

Slipknot changes masks for each album cycle. However, both Jim Root and Mick Thompson stay with basically the same masks with slight variations. Corey Taylor and Sid ( the DJ) are the ones who go through extreme changes each time. Craig ( pinhead mask) just changes the positions and lengths of the nails, lol. Vin and Jay are newer members on their second album so we will see what they do. Last but not least.. Nobody knows who tortilla man really is or if he's a permanent member or if they change people, he's the mystery wild card for now hahaha. Oh and Clown is Clown. and will always be ..... CLOWN.

Mask are made custom for them. They change mask every time they release a album. This song is actually where they first showed their new mask for the album this song is part of.
No they do not switch masks between them. I'm sure by this point they do have custom made masks. Their masks vary from time to time. They will make sometimes slight changes to large changes on their masks.
I know Corey's new one at least is designed by Tom Sivini and calling that guys work a revolutionary part of horror cinema is underselling it
The masks change every album. A few of the members have had the same mask since 1999, but they upgrade it every now and then.
They all have their own signature mask. And for the most part most of them change it a little bit for every album.
Just remembered the band Creed! They got a lot of hate in early 2000s, but I started listening again and they have great songs. One, Torn, My Own Prison- I think you’ll like them AND very relevant today
From ashes to new is the name of the group the song is panic you would love it it’s a mixture of rap rock and they got a drummer you must check out he has a small kit but puts on one hell of a show

I love how you started the video out commenting on the percussion-heavy. Also, the masks are custom made for each of them, they have been for over 20 years. The band is timeless. Also, think of Corey Taylor and Tati from Jinjer. They have ALOT in common as far as the styles and range of vocals. Great reaction as always brother. Keep um coming.

Every album each member is responsible for designing and making their own masks. It changes every time and they wear it for the touring and interviews, etc for that album.
To be clear, you see one drummer in their videos but they are using no less than3 playing together. Slipknot is a 9 member (sometimes 10) band. Check our live performances vids. You will see there is like 10 of them with 3-4 drummers. 1 DJ, like 4 guitars a bass and a keyboardist.
