Another thing about Phelia is that it can blink *any* nonland permanent instead of just creatures (allowing you to reset your Equipment) and can hit your opponent's stuff too. I honestly think that 2 Soulherders can work, especially if you use the blue for cards like Aegis, Lavinia, Hullbreacher, Tidebinder, Meddling Mage, and maybe an Unsettled Mariner as a slight bit of extra protection. That being said, I doubt it's better than just going Mono-W + Bowmasters at this point if you want to be competitive.
ive been playing a similar deck with 4 harbinger of seas, 4 thalia. Thalia into harbinger can just win some games on turn 3. Been playing deputy of detention and skyclave as creature removal cards. I think splashing blue for the merfolk guy and blue cards is pretty good. i think you need 4 archon of emeria over soudherder its just better to have more hatebears i think. If you can assemble thalia archon harbinger of seas its usually a lock against a lot of decks.
The blue splash is interesting, but i think Soulherder is too slow for 2024. Tishana's Tidebender fits more for what DnT wants to be doing. Would also max out on Consign to Memory; card covers DnT's weakness to Storm and Doomsday so well
In Match 5 Game 2 did you mulligan the first hand because you think it needed a second white source or did you not see the witch enchanter? Curious because I think the hand would have at least been up for discussion to keep. Anyway thanks for the content! :)
I'm not a fan of keeping one wastelandable white source with no Aether Vial if I can help it. It was already a mulligan because of no second white as well. You are 100% right I should have discussed it more though

Makes sense to me, feel free to ping over a list

I feel like this is missing the goose
Forgive my ignorance, what is "the goose"?
