I LOVE this video!!! so cool... I just picked up a Case SC last June (2017) and been doing the same restoration since so I understand how much work this is and I Tip my Hat to you and thank you very much for keeping another of these Beautiful machines alive and Out of the scrap yard...VERY nicely done!!!
Declin2284 , I have an old SC case and a DC case, I have redone 75% restoration on my SC, and I'm soon to start working on the DC, although the DC doesn't need as much work as the SC do to Less hours on the tractor, I do tractor pull them both my DC does really well in the 6000 pound class my SC is out class because I have to pull in the 5000, I have to pull against M Farmall and John Deere A, so I'm out classed, but I'm finding more ways of getting more horsepower out of my SC, I'm at 35 hp. at stock RPM

Why did you replace the original mag with a distributor? Just curious.
I was working with a tight dead line . It was a 3month wait to have a mag rebuilt. Distributor was ready to go.
